Episodios

  • The Gherkin Pirates

    02/09/2014 Duración: 52min

With Talk Like a Pirate Day coming up, the Gagmen are in a pickle of a situation to put out a pirate adventure. Special guest Brandon McFadden of the Tiny Dungeon Kickstarter helps out, and pickles all around. Learn lessons like, genocide is impolite and cannibalism can be funny. Set sail and start swabbing the poop deck, because it is going to get thick on this adventure.

  • Tiny Dungeon Interview

    26/08/2014 Duración: 42min

The Gagmen are talking with Brandon McFadden of Smoking Salamander Games, the makers of Tiny Dungeon. A spanking new Kickstarter for a rules light fantasy role-playing game. Just remember it isn't the size of the game, it is how you use it.

  • Hare and Gone

    12/08/2014 Duración: 47min

Back with more ludicrous ideas, the Gagmen bring you an adventure based around herding dire bunnies. Yes, we went there and now you can't unread it. WARNING: listening to the Gagmen could lead to ridiculous ideas appearing at your gaming table. Your friends will ridicule you and your family will shun you, but since you already play role-playing games that has probably already happened anyway.

  • An Unexpected Review

    15/06/2014 Duración: 22min

The Gagmen review "The Legerdemain Betrayers" by Daniel Chan, a dark world with a modern setting. Magic hidden from the normal people for a reason, but not from the Gagmen. James, Mike, and Corbett give a short show reviewing the game.

  • Going Bananas

    05/06/2014 Duración: 01h04min

Finally, an episode with monkeys, bananas, monkeys, witch-doctors, monkeys, liches, and did we mention the monkeys. Face off against the king of the Aracno-Apes, in the Gagmens' latest jungle fantasy adventure. Listen along as we repeatedly reference video game after video game, poison you with liche blood, and then we just go Ape! With our special guest Joshua Wardrop from ArcKnight Games.

  • Gagmen Make a Change of Hobbit

    21/05/2014 Duración: 01h08min

Listen in with our guest, The Kitchen Overlord aka Chris-Rachael Oseland, as we fling ideas around for a Hobbit style adventure. With many references to food, food, food! Did we mention food? Also, there is the food, and I suppose we could talk a little more about the adventure, then we could stop in for a little snack. Is Corbett still writing up sexist adventure ideas? The short answer, yes. Can James stop playing Skyrim, while recording the show? Also, no. Is Michael going to talk Chris-Rachael’s’ ear off? Maybe, we will see how it goes. Also, Dave showed up.

  • Digital Gods

    09/05/2014 Duración: 01h23s

By popular demand the Gagmen have taken a flying leap... into Star Frontiers. We come up with a little story with religious robots, weird space slugs, and space pirates. Can your characters get off the base filled with this insanity, or are you doomed to end up a brain in a jar.

  • The Devil Comes to Swan Gultch

    19/04/2014 Duración: 59min

What do Godzilla, Back to the Future, and River Boat Gamblers have in common? Nothing! The GagMen take on a classic western story of a quirky little town in Utah, Swan Gulch. A town with a regular robbery and one heck of a sheriff, putting the heroes in harm’s way of the Comancheros coming to town. And find out how well Godzilla does blend in with your average western. So saddle up, for a good ol’ shoot’em up adventure.

  • The Secret of Donagel Bay

    12/04/2014 Duración: 01h01min

The adventure is set on the island inside Donagel Bay, where the children have started disappearing because of a mysterious figure known only as Mister Rocker. Will Michael ever get the name right? Will the Gagmen reenact a radio talk show? Will there be more questions than answers? All signs lead to... ask again later.

  • Mazes & Mutants

    13/03/2014 Duración: 51min

We try out a suggestion from Reddit, and lose Dave in the process. Michael takes us on an exploration of a skyscraper full of confusion and traps, while deciding if we should be on drugs. Michael has us fighting Elmo, James starts leaning into being the ultimate super villain, and Corbett gets us all on the “Drug Train”. We hope you enjoy this adventure set for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by Palladium Games.

  • Bulletproof Blues Vincent Venturella Interview

    25/02/2014 Duración: 01h05min

Part 1 of another really long episode. The Gagmen interview Vincent Venturella of Venture Land Games, promoting his Kickstarter for the Narrative Game System (NGS). Vincent opens up about his many raids on bathrooms and his racially-based, home invasion, murder, and theft. Stay tuned for part 2 "Hassenpfeffer with a side of Kraut" where we get back to actually putting together an adventure.

    25/02/2014 Duración: 01h26min

Bulletproof Blues writer/creator Brandon Blackmoor guest hosts, and helps the GagMen create a super heroic adventure set in the world of Kalos Comics. Brandon confesses that Kalos Comics is created as a fake corporation to hide away all his big game writing money. Michael expresses his love of Mothra and construction workers. James expresses his lack of interest in Mothra and construction workers. Dave has an idea, probably. Corbett can't tell the difference between the talented artist Sean Izaakse and his evil twin Chris Izaakse. The GagMen announce their first contest.

  • Everybody Cut Mek-loose!

    03/02/2014 Duración: 57min

It is February, and love is in the air this month, and nothing says love like Mekton Zeta by R.Talsorian. Michael takes the lead this episode and plans out a big mech fighting adventure. The Gagmen talk about some of their favorite anime and robot fighting films.

  • Game of Kobolds

    27/01/2014 Duración: 01h05min

Against all sanity, the Gagmen take on the writings of George R. R. Martin “The Song of Fire and Ice” or “The Game of Thrones.” Also, challenging copyright infringement on a second property, the Gary Gygax adventure “B2 the Keep on the Borderlands”. In a love letter of insanity to another podcast, “Save or Die.” With no legal defense the Gagmen try their most ill-advised episode yet. James lays down the law about heroes, Corbett apologizes to Michael, and Dave generally was there.

  • The Pride of Brattleburg, Part 2

One final time before 2013 is over the Gagmen will put out a wrap up for module G1312 - The Unicorn Without a Horn. We wish you all Merry Christmas and other politically correct holidays.

  • The Unicorn Without A Horn Part 1

    06/12/2013 Duración: 55min

The Gagmen Christmas D&D episode. A family must make haste to a major city in order to sell their wares, before an evil wizard ruins their livelihood. A young girl is certain that the horse pulling the wagon is a unicorn that is missing his horn. As the characters must face off against the might of the Snow Golem. Just a fun holiday episode.

  • Drinks and a Dungeon Part 2

    21/11/2013 Duración: 39min

We finish up and tie in a few more ideas and touch on old ones, to complete module "G1311 Drinks and a Dungeon." This will wrap up our first adventure and will be back in December with an outdoor Christmas fantasy adventure.

  • Drinks and a Dungeon Part 1

    06/11/2013 Duración: 01h01min

The Gagmen start out with an iconic Dungeons & Dragons adventure; a classic bar beginning and then into a simple starter dungeon. The adventure starts of with the characters getting poisoned in a lonely roadside inn and forced to venture into a basement to find the cure. A fun and fast thief oriented adventure. Made for first level characters, with options to adjust the adventure to higher levels.
