  • ATG 07: Jacob Warwick & Luke Talk About Publicity, Being Featured On Major Sites, And Connections

    09/04/2016 Duración: 34min

Jacob Warwick And I talk about his impressive portfolio, his skills in writing, & how he was featured with major companies. He has published over 100 articles this past year for publications including Entrepreneur, ADWEEK, Social Media Examiner, Forbes, The New York Times, and many others. (E.g, clients such as Xerox, Percolate, Visual.ly, Sumall, Under Armour, etc.) Which is definitely not easy to do! My takeaway from this episode was to start with credibility in your business. By establishing major connections and getting strong referrals, it can help increase conversion so much higher when the traffic comes. Companies do this by advertising with a celebrity. You can do the same by working with popular companies and getting a video testimonial or by advertising with them in some way. I did this with Mike Stelzner and he made me a video testimonial about me! Which was totally cool for me! • ATG 06: Will Blunt & Luke Talk About How Guest Posting Brings Thousands Of Connections

    06/04/2016 Duración: 37min

Luke speaks with Will Blunt on the subject of guest-posting. It was going to be episode #2 instead of #5 and Luke explains how that happened. It's a different episode from most and Luke goes over that within this episode... Why am I talking in 3rd person here?? Ha:) Bad habit. Anyways, it all turns out good and we dive into a cool way to build connections no matter you're situation. My takeaway from this episode was to test the best ways to create connections. Figure out what helps generate the most traffic & contacts so you can ignite those into raving fans. Not easy to do but definitely achievable. Connecting, writing, and content creating isn't easy, but it's worth the connections you'll be harvesting. • ATG 05: Christy Connects Like Crazy And Hits 7 Figures In Two Years

    29/03/2016 Duración: 27min

Christy from SometimesSpouse speaks with us about her instant success with a young business (2.5 years to be exact). Her strategy was to connect and we see how she did that in our interview with her. My takeaway from this episode was to study pain points closely. The stronger the pain point, the higher you can launch on day 1#. Handyman work was something Max (the husband) was good at and was a needed service in their area. Also, they was able to train people quickly and build a team that could take this faster than most business do in twice the time. With catchy titles, cool one liners, and a funny storyline, Christy takes her business up and above with major press. She talks about her connections with the partners and how those connections was most important in order to keep this together. Mentioned In Episode: –www.sometimesspouse.com -www.sometimesspouse.com/services WHAT YOU’LL LEARN: -How to get your business out in the open -How to connect like Christy -How creativity and connectivity is needed ingredi

  • ATG 04: Neil Patel & Luke Guy Talk About How To Build Traffic With Blogging

    27/03/2016 Duración: 32min

In this episode I speak with Neil Patel. It was my very first episode I recorded and for a lot of reasons mentioned... I made it episode 04. In the podcast I talk about how all this happened and why I sounded weird. There's plenty of takeaway so don't worry. Just know this will be the bumpiest episode ever from me. Nervous about the release, but I think I'll be okay. :) My podcast has tremendously improved since this episode which was recorded almost 2 months before the show was published and I made sure the show wouldn't be like this. I learned a lot and like anything, you must start somewhere. Neil did great and the content is great. If you're looking to grow traffic and learn SEO. You're going to like it. But don't worry, this episode was a special edition for many reasons. It may end up being my top episode due to me interviewing Neil and due to you laughing at me (while I'm trying to be serious). Learn from me! Podcasting isn't easy, but there's only way to learn how to swim. Jump! Mentioned In Episode:

  • ATG 03: Luke Goes Rant Mode About Celebrity Syndrome

    20/03/2016 Duración: 17min

I go rant mode in this one as I confront the "celebrity syndrome" of those who feel like they've made it to the top. Being successful is amazing stuff and it has it's own definition by many. But one thing "success" is not and that's forgetting those who have helped you make it this far. Instead of dropping connections, it's time to embrace those instead. I say this because I want all of us to do well, not be alone and miserable because we feel like that's what "successful" people do. Get ready, this is definitely different from most episodes. Mentioned: -Hubspot WHAT YOU’LL LEARN: -Never quit connecting -When success comes, that means connect more, not less -Hollywood doesn't come close to how we should be in the business realm -Build your team, so they can produce, while you connect like a boss THANKS FOR LISTENING TO ASK THE GUY SHOW! • ATG 00: Introduction Of Ask The Guy Show

    28/02/2016 Duración: 10min

Finally. I published the podcast. This episode is the introduction to Ask The Guy Show. This podcast is going to be fun, I'll explain. With this podcast we're going to be interviewing entrepreneurs who have connected like the pros to build something bigger than themselves. I'm not 100% the connecter I want to be, but I'm looking to be that. This podcast is going to help me do just that. Now you can hear my voice and learn with me anywhere. You can be in your car, on the treadmill, outside walking, or at work during lunch break. The show will help you connect to people that matter in your life. Connecting is definitely the weakness of the majority and I want to help change that. Setting this up was a lot of work, but I finally did it! Had to create the cover, podcast feeds, techy stuff, submit to iTunes and Google play, and all of that. The show should appear in iTunes soon and when you see it subscribe and leave a good review! Thanks for being there. The post ATG 00: Introduction Of Ask The Guy Show appeared
