Disney has been remaking their cinematic classics for many years now. These remakes have gained popularity in recent years and are part of Disney's strategy to capitalize on their extensive catalog. Disney remakes serve several purposes. They allow Disney to introduce classic stories to a new generation of audiences, often with updated visuals and contemporary themes. Halloween season is here and it's time to watch some Disney Halloween movies! Tim Burton first offered up the story of "Frankenweenie" as a live action short-film in 1984.
