The official launch may have been pushed back a bit, but we've still been given the opportunity to touch a small part of the most anticpated remake of all time. A new work schedule means fewer episodes may be on the pipeline this year. Fortunately, I managed to wrangle in Uzuki so we can have a one-on-one on semi-current events that interested us. After all, time stands still for me until FFVII Remake comes out (speaking of which....).Also listen in to our opinions about not one but TWO videogame movies (one of them is actually good!) as well as a spoilercast for the Kingdom Hearts III DLC, ReMind.

Not three days into 2020 and we've already got an ominous hashtag, big game leaks, and the dearly departing (but still very much alive) of one of Giant Bomb's finest. But if a winter cold won't bring Blue Map down, then neither should the recent news. It's a new year with a lot of new things to look forward to.Well, one new thing.Final Fantasy VII Remake.Nothing else matters.......okay the Resident Evil 3 Remake looks rad too.

2020 is a year I'm very much looking forward to, for many reasons (FFVII FFVII FFVII FFVII FFVII....), but before we can kill the past, we must honor it by discussing our favorite moments, characters, music and other self-made GOTY categories for the year 2019.It's a nearly full house with myself, Beeb, Shadowfire and Uzuki as we cover the first half of our yearly reminiscence.

This year's awards show wasn't the worst, but it was pretty forgettable. So forgettable, in fact, that I forgot to put this episode up for a week!Oh well, Beeb is here and we talk about stuff. He has his Pokemon, I have my FFVII.Dat Nemesis tho.

That Simpsons "New Hat" meme has never been more appropriate than now, where Blizzard's attempts of sweeping their latest ugliness under the rug is thoroughly discussed (and with disgust) by Blue Map and me. Once we're done ragging on the big Western companies, we get to talking about the good stuff like The Outer Worlds. Listen to the end for a spoiler discussion about the game's first story quest!

There's no way we could possibly catch up to the last few weeks of news, especially when companies find new ways to shoot themselves in the foot (repeatedly!). It's equal parts praise and crticism in this week's episode. Any excuse to yell about Konami some more.

Nintendo just casually dropped a Direct that ran circles over their E3 presentation, and Blue Map and Uzuki join me in the game-by-game breakdown. Also that Steven Universe movie was pretty rad.

I've barely pulled myself away from Shadowbringers' meaty claws long enough to add another massive RPG to my plate, one that Beeb is all too happy to talk about despite a few hours of play. The usual Fire Emblem discussions about waifus, impractical outfits and face-touching are in play here, as well as a whole new set of mechanics and features that invigorate the series to new Totally-Not-Persona heights.

Blue Map and Uzuki meet for the first time in my podcast. What could possibly go wrong? After several snip-snips of creepy porn talk, not too much. And if anyone's gotten sick of all my Final Fantasy VII Remake shilling, you'll be happy to know I've taken an extended break on that....to shill about Final Fantasy XIV instead.

We're just a few days away from E3, and I still can't stop talking about the Square Enix conference and the Final Fantasy VII Remake. Beeb, on the other hand, shows me how fan gushing really works by talking longer and fanboy-ier about the latest Pokemon Direct. Adorable sheep! Kaiju Pokemon! Multiplayer Raids! And all sorts of uncomfortable fetishes that should never surround a cute and wholesome series! All this and a whole lot more on our Pre-E3 prediction!

Pop Culture (and its respective fandoms) have no chill this year: even though it's barely been a month since the double whammy of finales, we're already moving forward to the next big things peering over the horizon. Beeb and I sit together for a long overdue and probably out of date spoilercast for the Game of Thrones series finale and Avengers Endgame. Other topics crop up including the recently revealed date for Death Stranding, Detective Pikachu, and of course: Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is back! There's a new trailer, we need to do a lengthy breakdown of every single scene! What do you mean this guy are sick??? 

Has there ever been such an impending pop culture doom? The bodies are ready to litter the streets of the two biggest media franchises, as Beeb and I sit down and speculate how Avengers: Endgame and the rest of Game of Thrones will play out. Who will be survive, and what will be left of them? How many last-second anime Mcguffins will be pulled out of thin air? Can we survive the social media plague of spoilers before witnessing the ends ourselves?Spoilers for up to episode 69 (nice) of Game of Thrones and Avengers: Infinity War. Harry Potter and Kill Bill also come up, so fair warning.

Blue Map and Shadowfire join me for another pow-wow about the latest gaming gossip, including the sneak peak at Sony's specs for the Playstation 5 (?), how the latest event reward may have killed Final Fantasy XIV's lore, the madness of randomizer mods, a deserved cheer for Shazam! and a disappointing jeer for Dark Phoenix (from what we've heard, anyway).

Blue and I are finally ready to talk about Devil May Cry V in its entirety. Beeb is also on board to talk Sekiro, Baba is You, Con Woes, Plant Boobies, Wishes Gone Wrong and Square's latest blunder.

I'll always give credit where credit is due, and Capcom has been on a roll lately (but they're not quite "CapGod" yet). Blue Map joins me eager to talk about Devil May Cry V...or talk around it, as he ended up marathoning the whole thing in a day whereas I'm only five missions in. We also talk about Capcom's past mistakes, Square's continued mistakes (at what point did Left Alive ever seem like a good idea?), and I also share my latest gaming obsession. I'll give you a hint: It's a Shooty Looty.
