  • Episode 28: Beast of Blood

    28/03/2015 Duración: 03h14min

It's been a busy week in news and releases, and we foolishy try to cover all of it in this episode. As if the discussions of Bloodborne, Kojima leaving Konami and Nintendo going mobile weren't enough, I subject Blue Map, Fencingsax, LockedonTarget and ThatDudeOverThere to something far more terrifying then anything Lovecraft could ever unleash from the dephs of his depraved soul. Suffer along with us in this plus-sized podcast episode.

We talk about our initial impressions of Type-0 after the first couple of chapters while being teased by Renzo of things to come (and also how to suck less at the game). We then move onto the FFXV demo....or is it better to call it a beta, while discussing the various pros and cons and missed opportunities with this early look at the long-developed epic.Visit Renzo's Twitter: https://twitter.com/coredeceptsVisit LockedonTarget's YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2go70QLfwGq-hW4nvUqmogVisit My YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrc1NJTyjqhuoj88qsmm_IwAlso Visit My Twitter: https://twitter.com/Primoman

    12/03/2015 Duración: 04h54s

We're less than a week away from the release of Final Fantasy: Type-0 HD and the FFXV Demo! Let's all get together and celebrate all the awesomeness happening this month....oh, we want to talk about all of the terrible things happening in the games industry instead? Sure, that's fun too....Also, Blue Map talks up the Netrunner CCG with Fencingsax, ThatDudeOverThere discovers a new passion with Orcs Must Die, LockedonTarget goes further down the Anime hole with Dragon Ball Xenoverse, and I try to convince everyone that Final Fantasy is worth getting excited about again while also pitching Michael Bay's next potential blockbuster. For more information on Netrunner and the OCTGN app: http://octgn.gamersjudgement.com/wordpress/anr/installation/

  • Episode 25: Final Fantasy XII

    05/03/2015 Duración: 02h30min

It's a clash of idealogies as I have a roundtable discussion with Fencingsax and Blue Map about Final Fantasy XII. Do innovative gameplay mechanics make up for a poorly realized story? Has Matsuno managed to avoid scrutiny over his half-finished works? Should we believe Ondore's lies?

  • Episode 24: Go Go Podcast Ranters!

    28/02/2015 Duración: 04h11min

It's Minglin' Time! Five adults with attitude come together to discuss the latest happenings, from Final Fantasy XIV's best/worst update ever to the mature (labeled) changes happening with certain franchises and the not-so-mature depictions of others. Plus, Blue Map shows off his endorsement skills once again while the rest of us have an in-depth dialog about internet personalities and their tired routines.

  • Episode 22: Anime Spoilercast 5 (Sword Art Online I+II)

    19/02/2015 Duración: 02h30min

We tackle one of the most popular (and heavily criticized) series in recent years by covering the animated entirety of Sword Art Online. Do cultural differences make up for poor writing (no)? Are there any legitimate high points to be found in this series (yes)? Is the onii-chan thing ever not creepy (lord no)? And how many details of the novelization can Somestickguy take (not a whole lot)?Somestickguy's blog: http://authistic.com/

  • Episode 23: Dissidia Final Fantasy

    19/02/2015 Duración: 01h25min

Fencingsax and Stilts join me for a brief bit of speculation of the newly announced Dissidia game (and a briefer retrospective of the first two) while also discussing which new characters should be included in the upcoming Final Fantasy free-for-all. Where's the love for Amarant?

  • Episode 21: Moly-Blues

    14/02/2015 Duración: 03h53min

It's another anything-goes extravaganza. ThatDudeOverThere continues to be smitten by Smite, LockedOnTarget promotes a new YouTube channel (several times), Fencingsax runs a little late and Blue Map relays some kind words about his favorite developer Peter Molyneux. It's a Persona-gushing, Spider-maning, Bat-tastic all-rounder filled with vulgarities, comic talks and poor product placement in this week's episode! Also more discussions of Metroid: Other M because we really like that game.Smite Stream: http://www.twitch.tv/smitecentralLockedOnTarget's YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2go70QLfwGq-hW4nvUqmog

  • Episode 20: The Compilation of Final Fantasy VII

    05/02/2015 Duración: 03h05min

LockedOnTarget rejoins the crew from the previous episode (Fencingsax, Adus and Renzo) to discuss the sequels, spin-offs and prequels of Final Fantasy VII. Listen in as we discuss heated topics like fanservice versus narrative consistency, Square's shortsightedness with overseas marketing, the kind of crazy information gathered by Sephiroth fangirls, and a brief look into the possible future of Final Fantasy VII. Will they just kiss already!?

  • Episode 19: Anime Spoilercast 4 (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)

    04/02/2015 Duración: 01h26min

Somestickguy brings a friend along as we discuss the currently running Anime adaption of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. How many memes can we reference in one episode, and how long can you withstand busting out a fabulous pose?

  • Episode 18: Final Fantasy VII

    29/01/2015 Duración: 02h58min

You read that right: Adus, Renzo and Fencingsax join me in waxing nostalgic about a game that came out over 17 years ago and is still discussed like it came out yesterday. It's an honest-to-goodness celebration of the single most definitive RPG of all time as we cover our favorite characters, our unending debates about the story, ambiguity versus confirmation, and just what insane lengths a teenage gamer in the 90's had to go through to play this monumental release.

  • Episode 17: Anime Spoilercast 3 (Your Lie in April)

    28/01/2015 Duración: 01h19min

Anime bingewatcher Somestickguy comes back to talk about his up-to-date thoughts on the bizzarly titled but brilliantly presented "Your Lie in April". Also, I caution Stick on the danger of watching Evangelion half-asleep and hear his early episode impressions while he returns the favor with a couple recommendations of his own.

  • Episode 16: Freedom, Freedom, Freedom, Oy!

    23/01/2015 Duración: 03h09min

It's a six-person open discussion this week as I check in on ThatDudeOverThere's progress on Final Fantasy VII, I praise Freedom Planet while sighing over the legal hilarity surrounding the Sonic comic series, Fencingsax talks about world-shattering comic book event no. 349, Blue Map keeps track of Payday's canonical link to other series, and LockedOnTarget whores out a new project. And if you haven't had enough of him this week, Somestickguy is also around in addition to discussions about Evolve, Final Fantasy XIV, Parasite Eve and YouTube personalities. Also football and historical warfare! There's something for everybody this week!

  • Episode 15: Anime Spoilercast (Test)

    20/01/2015 Duración: 47min

Recorded last December, somestickguy decides to bring up Anime, and the two of us begin the first of what may potentially be a routine check-in on the latest Anime shows.

  • Episode 15: Anime Spoilercast 2 (Parasyte the Maxim)

    20/01/2015 Duración: 01h38min

somestickguy is eager to talk about his latest Anime binge, as we ponder about the current state of Parasyte the Maxim while also trying (and failing) to avoid spoilers from the Manga. We also delve with topics such as favorite Anime OPs, how dark can a series get before it becomes too dark, and the tough question of naming my Top 3 greatest Anime of all time.

  • Episode 14.5: Final Fantasy Females (Followup)

    19/01/2015 Duración: 02h45min

The Sauce and vagrant_winds join me in a followup discussion where we talk about the unsung heroines of the previous recording, the unappreciated depth of Final Fantasy XIII and a uniquely critical analysis of a beloved Final Fantasy VI character. The South Figaro Podcast will always be a safe haven for controversial opinions, so make yourself comfortable and don't mind the F-16s flying by.

  • Episode 14: Final Fantasy Females

    16/01/2015 Duración: 03h18s

Stilts, Fencingsax, Renzo, somestickguy, and LockedOnTarget join me today to celebrate some of our favorite female characters (and our not-so-favorite depictions of them) in this week's Final Fantasy-themed episode.

  • Episode 13: Kingdom Hearts

    09/01/2015 Duración: 04h07s

We begin the new year with the largest ensemble of people yet. Fencingsax, ThatDudeOverThere, turtleant and Blue Map return along with newcomer LockedOnTarget and Stilts as a late addition, as we discuss the longest-running fanboyest-filled crossover series Kingdom Hearts. How many crazy (and awesome) ideas can we come up with for Kingdom Hearts III? Listen in and find out.
