This Sunday’s teaching (based on Galatians 5) is particularly geared towards kids (and adults, too ; ) as we explore who the Holy Spirit is and the difference that he can make in our day-to-day lives as we choose to live in sync with him.

Pastor Nathan teaches out of Romans 6, looking at a striking image that Paul uses to describe life in Christ - a "slave to righteousness”. A slave?  Really?  But I thought the Bible says that we are free in Christ… Perhaps Paul is intentionally using this metaphor to challenge our idea of true freedom VS a kingdom idea of what freedom really is.

Pastor Lisa teaches a passage in Nehemiah 4 which focuses on a discouraged and tired group of people who desperately need to have their perspective shifted by God in order to have hope and strength to persevere...

Pastor Jeremy closes out our series on tough questions of faith, looking at one of the most challenging wrestles related to faith and the scriptures - that of God-ordained violence in the Bible.  Do these circumstances in scriptures discredit God?  Do they undermine his love and mercy?  Or do they, in fact, substantiate it?

Pastor Matt G will be continues our series of addressing tough faith-related questions.  This week will be all about a matter that is quite heated in our day and age - the fact that science and faith seem to be at odds.  While many are drawing strong either/or lines around the matter, could it be that either/or isn’t the only option?

Ken Dyck the founder of Freedom Session - a recovery ministry that has been running at St. Albert Alliance over the past number of months, is our guest speaker this weekend.  Tied-in with hearing from Ken will be the opportunity to celebrate the journey that members of our church family have been on in their journey to freedom in Jesus.

Pastor Matt K. delivers our message this week that tackles the oft-asked question of whether or not the Bible is a reliable resource to base one’s life on.  Life as an apprentice of Jesus is intrinsically linked to the word of God - how can we come to the scriptures confidently and defend it to those who criticize its validity?

As part of our series Questions on FAITH & REASON(able) Answers, Pastor Jeremy will tackle a common question - “Do All Religions Lead to God?” This question is one that is asked both outside and inside the church - what might scripture teach about how human beings from all cultures and backgrounds might satisfy their innate desire to know and understand the divine?
