Every Christian is a minister, and ministry is part of your journey of being a life long follower of Jesus.  It's a part that, sadly, some people miss out on.  Why?

Being responsible isn't something that just happens.  It's developed. How can Christians develop so they can live a life of responsibility?

The Christian life was not meant to be lived alone. If the church wants to be effective, we need teams.  If you want to be an effective follower of Christ, you need teams in your life.  You need unity.  You need to be closely connected with the church and other believers.

Integrity is a big deal. Our country is certainly filled with examples of high profile celebrities and leaders who have displayed their lack of integrity.  Unfortunately, this lack of integrity often extends to the church. If the mission of the church is to gain influence with people and point them to Jesus, how can the church ever do that if it can't be trusted?  

Inside each of us is incredible potential. As followers of Jesus, each of us has abilities and talents that can make the world beautiful.  Placed in God's hand, we can change the world.  Many times, though, our potential  will only be revealed after some parts of us have been refined and shaped.  This part isn't always fun.  How can we see the bigger picture and keep our joy during times of adversity?

There is a difference between happiness and joy.  Joy is a spiritual practice that grows out of faith, grace, gratitude, and love.  Joy is not about emotions, it's about a relationship.  That is the driving message of the book of Philippians - Joy!  In this message, Pastor Brian Dollar starts our new series about the pursuit of joy.

We serve a God who keeps His promises.  When God promises to bless us, He does. When he promises to judge, He does.  When He promises to restore, He does. God keeps His promises, all of them.  In this message, Pastor Randy Jumper wraps up our PM series, God's Warning Signs.

Many people stay away from church because they see "Christians" not acting like Christians. They lump all believers together and say that they are phonies and fakes. Nobody really wants to be considered a hypocrite, and nobody really likes them. Imagine how God must feel?  The book of the prophet Zechariah tells us all we need to know about spiritual hypocrisy.

In the time period of the prophet Zephaniah, political corruption and unhealthy systems were the norm.  Disobedience was rampant.  Sin was celebrated, and like an aggressive virus was spreading from nation to nation.   Zephaniah had a warning for the nations, and it rings true for us today, too.

Pastor Randy Jumper looks at the story of the ancient city of Ninevah, as told in the books of Jonah and Nahum.  They are very different stories.  What can learn from this once great city?

Many times, multiple things in our lives seem to be going wrongat once.  It's frustrating, frightening, and overwhelming. You want to get things going back the right direction, butyou're not sure how.

God gave the prophet Hosea a strange command:  he must marry Gomer, not only an unfortunately named woman, but a known prostitute.  What in the world? What was the purpose of this, and what can we learn from this story?    

Some people think all God cares about is that you start something spiritual - reading the Bible, going to church, witnessing to a neighbor, teaching a class - even if you don't always follow through.  After all, your intentions are what really matter, right?
