We also talked about potential matchups for the Rangers in the playoffs. Boomer is pissed they lost to the Flyers last night. The Mets destroyed the Braves 16-4 and got themselves a series victory. Gio doesn’t want the Knicks playing the Heat as that series will be ‘exhausting’. The Islanders hosted the Evan and Tiki Show and hardcore Rangers fan Shaun Morash was seen celebrating an Islanders goal with the owner of the team. OJ Simpson died yesterday of prostate cancer at the age of 76. Gio said he enjoyed people trying to navigate how to report this yesterday, saying he had a ‘complicated legacy’. Gio disagrees, saying he was a murderer. Nothing complicated about that. Boomer said his sister was really caught up with the trial at the time. Boomer said of OJ, ‘he’s a murderer. He’s gone. The world’s now a better place’. Gio couldn’t believe OJ would talk about his fantasy football team on Twitter. Boomer’s picture was used in the OJ trial as OJ was interviewing him on the field while wearing the same shoes he wore during the murders. Boomer and his friend Mike also went to OJ’s house where Nicole was supposed to make dinner and she wasn’t there so OJ was getting pissed. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with an update from the Masters as it’s going on right now. The Knicks beat the Celtics and they’ve made a believer out of Shaq. The Mets had no problem with the Braves, beating them 16-4. The Rangers struggled in their loss to the Flyers. The Islanders beat the Canadiens for their sixth straight. The Moment of The Day involves Boomer in a bad mood and Tiger Woods’ legs. In the final segment of the week, Spike Eskin joins us in studio as it appears he is wrapping up his time at WFAN.

We gave a brief update on last night’s Knicks and Mets game. Then we took a caller who doesn’t want transgender women playing women’s sports. Then a caller talked about the Rangers going soft into the playoffs. Jerry returns for an update but first a caller said a rapper named Apathy, put out a song that references Boomer, so we played it. Jerry started with the Mets beating up on the Braves, 16-4. Sal Licata went after Braves fans again and Jerry read some of the replies on Twitter. The Knicks crushed the Celtics and Jaylen Brown said the Knicks beat them up good. We talked about retirees who live on cruise ships. Jerry has sound from the Rangers loss to the Flyers last night. In the final segment of the hour, a caller wants to know why the NFL is playing a game in Brazil. Boomer is also mad that Fubo and SNY are no longer partners.
