Sozin is both playing and reporting from the 2015 US Nationals held at Gencon. He has some quick interviews with Richard Hsu, Nick Jones, Paul Heaver and Tyler Tippet near the start of the tournament. Find out what they’re flying and what else they have to say about the world of x-wing.

Kelvan, Theorist, Sozin and Sablegryphon sat down in early June to discuss some of the Wave 7 spoilers and store championship +  early regional results. Kelvan, Theorist, and MrFroggies, are joined by Sozin to discuss in detail every new ship in Scum and Villainy. They discuss the best and worst of each expansion and hit upon combinations they like for each ship. Finally they discuss the expected Meta for the new wave and what X-wing jockeys should expect to see across the table. What are your favorite Scum lists? Dallas Parker is one of the premier Xwing players. He has placed well in many major tournaments and has a long track records of flying great imperial lists, especially swarms. We interview him on his recent vicory for the Team Covenant Open tournament and his experiences in the last two Worlds tournements.

As far as Episode 11. We cover the Imperial Raider and how exicted we are for an Imperial Epic ship. Theorist is particularly excited as he’s on his new Epic kick. We cover the changes to the Tie-Advanced and Mr. Froggies busts out his “Enhance” tool to  give us an idea of what cards we might be seeing (PALPATINE!!!!!). We recap the TCO and do some prep talk on the Team Covenant Aces League. Finally we share some wave 5 and 6 squads we’ve been running recently and cover what we like about them.

The Scum and Villainy crew interview Zach Bunn as he talks about Team Covenant’s place in the Xwing biosphere. He alludes to some future enhancements the site will have and what we can expect from the best Xwing/gaming site in the business. We also spoke with him about his performance in some Xwing events, Zach just so happens to be a pretty good Xwing player. Finally we get his thoughts on the new waves and the Tie Advanced for Sable Gryffon.   And Holy Crap is that JoyNvengeance!?!

Join Scum & Villainy as we talk to Frank and Alex about all things X-wing; their thoughts on the X-wing ship competitively, what they each most love to fly, the challenges of designing the game, and much more.  We ask all the hard hitting questions *cough* that we are so known for, and for once Sable doesn’t ask what our guests would do to fix the TIE Advanced; although once again in interview, Frank and Alex verify that ship is definitely going to get attention. We’d love to say the gang’s all here, and four out of five ain’t bad. Theorist plays host to ask Kelvan, Sable, and Mr Froggies about their tournament runs at Worlds. How did we do as a team? What kept them from glory? Then we discuss the arrival of Wave 5 on shelves and what the meta is likely to become.

We spoke with two time Worlds Champion Paul Heaver about his win at the 2014 Worlds Championship. He spoke of the preparation it took to get ready for the Worlds tournament. There was a power point involved. We covered the epic game from the Vassal 3 tournament between Theorist and Paul and how we’d like to see them recreate such a game. Paul covers some Turn 0 subjects on how the game can be won before dice are rolled. Paul choooses his two worlds he claims for winning twice (Hoth is already claimed by Doug Kinney). I let Paul pick the intro and outro song for the Podcast since he won Worlds. He trolls well.

We (Frogs and Kelvan) sat down with Morgan Reid ,Worlds Champion Elect… Sorry Morgan, and talked about his Final Match. We also discuss his preparation techniques, the Australian meta, and his Worlds experience. Morgan gives his thoughts on wave 5. Morgan dedicated 4 months to one list to get ready for worlds. Apparently he played against a lot of Fat Han. We also got Morgan’s thoughts on the new Scum and Villainy faction. I found it interesting how all the good players have similar responses to getting better at X-Wing. Because Sable wasn’t able to be there we made sure to ask about the Tie Advanced.

For those of you who are not aware, Doug Kinney won the first Worlds tournament with a swarm. Afterward he became more of a Firespray player as he sought to expand his arsenal of Imperial weapons, but this year for Worlds he once again broke out the swarm; not because he hoped to avoid Phantoms, but because he hoped to defeat them. Join us as we talk to Doug about his plan, his 100% success at Worlds vs Phantoms, and get Doug’s opinion on a few things like how to overcome self-doubt.
