The progressive relaxation exercise that we are going to do was devised in 1929 by Dr. Edmund Jacobson. This consists of tensing various muscle groups and relaxing them For you the listener, you get the easy job, pay attention to the tensing and relaxing of muscles, breathing and then relaxing. If this exercise works for you, practice it, and make it part of your healthy routine.
