James warns of coming judgment and the sinful use of wealth

As we plan for tomorrow, do we take the Lord into account? Do we defer to His will? James urges us to remember our ignorance, our frailty, and our dependence upon Him for our life and all things.

"Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister judges them and speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?"

What is a proper response to grace? A proper response to grace is a Biblical response to grace, as outlined by James in these verses.

What is a Holy God's response to His people when they fight and quarrel, when they covet and envy, when they befriend the world, when they're guilty of spiritual adultery? Grace. "He gives us more grace." James 4:6

James writes about two kinds of wisdom: worldly and heavenly.
