Dug a little deeper this month and got a couple of tracks on vinyl from Discogs as they were nowhere else to be found. One of them is a pure gem from 1996 - Wamdue Project - In Love With You and the other is just released on Love Fever, E by Ron Jason and Kim Ann Foxman. You might actually hear the static from the needle on the recording, nevertheless the grooves are all there! With the club jam packed they got into cruise control early around 11:30 and kept people jumping until the end. They played the Prince Club (fellow Montrealers!) IMHO these guy sound like a cross between Cevin Fisher and Riva Starr....this live set carries that energy well!   ROUX Soundsystem is formed of redbeards Clifford Brown and Marinelli, whose common love for house tech and good company naturally brought them together.
