  • Ep 65: Your Name

    21/06/2017 Duración: 01h28min

Welcome back, true believers, to the 65th episode of the awkward winning podcast (no, that's not a mistake) from two guys with too much time, too much attention span and too many opinions on trivial stuff! This week, the guys finally talk about the return of Dark Matter for its third season, they dig deep into another astounding episode of Doctor Who, Mike brings us up to speed on Fargo, and John weighs in on the penultimate episode of American Gods. Good right? But wait... there's more! How about some hard pushes from the guys including Mike telling us why Noises Off! is an amazing piece of work, and John falling head over heels in love with a new Syfy show called... Blood Drive?! All this plus more on this exciting episode of WDYWTW! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 64: What belongs to you, but others use it more?

    15/06/2017 Duración: 01h20min

Welcome back everyone to a first for the WDYWTW crew: We recorded this episode in the same room! There wasn't a lot to talk about this week, but we still filled the time talking about the shows and such we did watch, starting with the epicly... something... season finale of Gotham. There was a lot to dig into, so we tried to cover it all (and felt dirty the whole time. We also rejoiced in some essentially classic Doctor Who, and chatted about a few lesser quality shows. Mike watched some movies, John watched some movies, and then we both watched A movie that we really wanted to dedicate some serious time to... Wonder Woman! We saw it, now what did we think about it? you'll just have to listen and hear for yourselves! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 63: A Coat Of Paint

    06/06/2017 Duración: 01h28min

Welcome back to everyone in audio land! This week was a lighter week for the boys who make some noise, but rest assured that that doesn't stop them from delivering some opinions on stuff! Mike starts things off with an in-depth look at the most recent season of Supernatural, and John talks briefly about his thoughts on the Prison Break mini-event that just ended. The guys dig into the season (and likely series) finale of Class, as well as what turned out to be a slightly disappointing end to the Monk series of events on Doctor Who. Throw in some trailer talk, some news items of interest and import, bake for about an hour and a half, and you've got yourself the latest episode of What did You Watch this Week! • Ep 62: What kind of coat is always wet when you put it on?

    01/06/2017 Duración: 01h35min

Welcome back loyal listeners, to the 62nd fun-filled episode of the critically critical podcast that we insist on putting out for you week after week! The prime show season is grinding to a close, and Mike and John have some things to say about the places where some of their trusted shows are leaving them before going on hiatus (and hopefully firing several of their writers.) Particular attention is given to a very outdated and lame tactic used by writers to try to instill fear and doubt, but which now just feels insulting. In addition, the guys talk about the bloodbath that is John Wick 2, some new trailers for upcoming shows they might be interested in, and of course, a good healthy discussion of the ongoing saga of what is turning out to be one of the most engaging and fun seasons in recent Doctor Who history! Stay a while, and listen, won't you? See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 61: Cause he got little legs

    22/05/2017 Duración: 02h11min

Welcome back, loyal miscreants and troublemakers, to another fun-filled romp through a week's worth of TV, movie, and other assorted entertainment revelries. On this week's not-ready-for-primetime episode, Mike and John dig into a very revealing and thought provoking episode of Doctor Who, they wax intellectual about Cat's return on Supergirl, and how the show really is better for having her, and they fish around in the muck of one of the "not the worst" episodes of Arrow this season (where the final minute or so was the best part of the show for a while now). Mike brings us up to speed on Fargo, and what's happening in the perpetually white north, and John praises one of the coolest death scenes he's seen in recent memory on American Gods. All this plus Flash talk, a bunch of news and trailers, and yes, a spoiler free(ish) discussion of Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 60: What's E.T. short for?

    16/05/2017 Duración: 01h45min

Welcome back loyal viewers, and welcome to all the new ones out there! On this week's thrill packed episode of the #1 rated podcast among extroverted snails, Mike and John talk some serious talks about the shows they checked out this week... as is the standard fare for these armchair critics. The main TV season is winding down, and so the boys are checking in with the ramp up to finales of their current shows, especially the current DC roster. How does time travel work on Flash? How does Teri Hatcher's plan mimic another amazing TV show from years ago? How can Arrow possibly wrap up the flashbacks and yet not wrap them up at all? Who is Bill Finger, and why is he on this list of DC related questions? The answers to all these inquiries, plus banter about cancelled and renewed shows, Dr Who and Class talk, and a few movie reviews are all here for your viewing pleasure on the most recent episode of What Did You Watch This Week! • Ep 59: Something Watched This Way Comes

    09/05/2017 Duración: 02h06min

Welcome back, loyal fans, to the latest spectacular episode of the only podcast to consistently pride itself on its inconsistency! On this week's episode, John and Mike dive into the big reveal of The Flash, and talk their thoughts on what this means to them, and the rest of the show. The guys also whet their beaks on the latest episodes of Agents of SHIELD and build their anticipation for the 2 part finale, and lament once again the stew of frustration that is the once great Arrow. Mike lets us know about a new documentary regarding the truth(?) behind the creation of Batman, and John gives us all his thoughts on American Gods and The Handmaid's Tale. All this, plus much, much more on this weeks' episode of What Did You Watch This Week! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 58: A New Beginning

On this week's fast-paced episode of What did You watch This week, Mike and John talk about several shows that are fresh back from hiatus, as well as a few staples. Did the Flash's trip to the future entice us for more? Did Supergirl's newest enemy stand up as a good villain? What is really going on in the mind of the Riddler? And is a feminine hygiene product the best choice for impromptu graffiti? The answers to all these burning questions, plus a few others, some movie reviews, and a few tasty news articles await you this week, on your favorite entertainment based podcast! • Ep 57: Thus ended the man's tragic tale

    26/04/2017 Duración: 01h34min

Welcome back, loyal viewers, to another fun-filled episode of the podcast that streams from one corner of this round planet to every other corner (if that's even possible to fathom.) This week was a lighter week once again, but that doesn't stop our hosts from digging deep into the seedy underbelly of TV and movie entertainment, including a look at the premiere of the 3rd season of Fargo, the latest riveting episode of Agents of SHIELD, and the BBC's Saturday night lineup. Additionally, Mike talks more about Chicago Justice, John gives his thoughts on the first 3 episodes of the new season of Prison Break, and the boys completely agree that the second new episode of The Blacklist this week was probably the best one yet in the series history. All this plus mindless banter, trailer reviews and more on the latest exciting episode of What Did You Watch This Week! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 56: Oh, I guess you're not the guy, she said

    18/04/2017 Duración: 01h59min

Welcome back loyal listeners to the greatest podcast based on two guys' viewing habits in the north-eastern part of the United States! On a packed-for-catching-up episode, the guys review a number of episodes that were best served two at a time, such as the 2-part finale of Blacklist Redemption and the 2 part finale of Legends of Tomorrow. John weighs in on the lackluster and predictable season finale of The Walking Dead, and Mike talks his unexpected passion for Taken. Add in some movies, some great trailers, a few returning and fun shows, and the premieres of a couple of amazing BBC series, and you have the 56th awe-inspiring episode of What Did You Watch This Week! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 55: He tripped and fell at her feet

    04/04/2017 Duración: 01h46min

Welcome back, poders and podettes, to the next incredible episode of What did You watch This week, and it's a doozy! Well, maybe less of a doozy than a dooze, but still, we've got the words to make the sentences, and we're here to cut out the middle man and give those sentences (and even some paragraphs) to you free of charge for the pleasure of 6 of your 13 senses! This week Mike was a little light on the traditional shows as he was mainlining wrestling programs in anticipation of Wrestlemania, but he still watched enough to have some great conversations about the DC lineup and that Grimm finale. Meanwhile, John took the bullet for the rest of the loyal viewers here at WDYWTW and sat down to find out if Mike was justified in his praise of the newest Blair With film. All this, plus some news, some trailers a few movies, and a whole lot of love! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 54: While sneezing and sniffling violently

    27/03/2017 Duración: 02h09min

Welcome back loyal viewers, to another fun filled and excitingly action packed episode of the podcast the brings all the boys to the yard! On this week's episode, the guys who never wear ties have both binged all of Iron Fist and are ready to give you their thoughts, their feelings, and their review! As always, this comes with a heavy spoiler warning, but if you've checked it out already or may be on the fence, you should be happy to dig right in. In addition, the musical episode of Flash/Supergirl is talked about, Mike comes up with a new phrase to describe his viewing of another "beloved" CW show, and John makes 2 hard pushes for Mike, one of which elicits some under-the-breath cursing? You'll just have to tune in to find out why! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 53: As he ran toward the ship

    20/03/2017 Duración: 02h06min

Another week, another session of ear therapy from your two favorite discussers of all things TV, movie, and entertainment generalities! On this thrilling episode, Mike and John clash violently over some of the shows they viewed this week, including a rousing discussion of benevolence vs deviance and how much it should affect the arc of a character's transgressions once the shift in tone has been revealed to the audience vs the other characters in the show. Also, we find ourselves split going into the finale of This is Us between #teamdeaddad and #teamlivedad and the gloves are coming off! • Ep 52: A sly smile crept across his lips

    13/03/2017 Duración: 01h58min

Welcome to the 52nd episode of the top notch, ready for prime time, had all its shots, podcast featuring two highly unqualified critics of screens both large and small! On the unofficial 1 year episode-iversary, the guys take a harder look at the shows they have been covering for the past year, and really take the gloves off on a few of them. It may have been a light week, but that won't stop them from cutting down into Legends and Flash to expose the succulent meaty cores of these slabs of ham-fisted entertainment, as well as carving off some chunks of Lethal Weapon and a report on the latest Chicago show from Dick Wolf. We laugh, we cry, we even learn a few things by the end, so come along and join us on this raucous ride that we call "What did You Watch this Week?" • Ep 51: You're Our Only Hope

    08/03/2017 Duración: 01h58min

One a tumultuous and irreverent episode of the podcast you've come to know and love, your hosts with the mosts go out of their way to explain the pros and cons of the varied titles they watched this week. Like every other episode. Since the show began. But now with technical issues! Listen and enjoy as the guys rip apart what should have been some great CW superhero shows, go in depth to the final 2 episodes of Emerald City (and what they think about the show overall) and then dig into some odd and not so odd movies that may or may not have been on your radar, dear viewers. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll wonder where the time went as you listen to the final episode before the 1 year anniversary of what Bill down the hall has come to call "That radio show about TV and sh*t" See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 50: I Have Been Searching For You

    27/02/2017 Duración: 02h40min

This week on What Did You Watch This Week (that felt awkward to write) the guys with those voices you listen to dive deep into their viewing history form the previous 7 days and come up with a few nuggets of treasure. Not gonna lie, the discussions get a little hot and angry surrounding the past few episodes of half of the DC TV lineup (with very little love for one of their favorites this week!) but the boys' heads cool down significantly when talking about one of the more heart wrenching episodes of This is Us they have aired yet. Throw in talks of an awesome Superstore, a few great renewal notices, and even some Oscar shop talk, and you'll find one helluva good episode of the academy-snubbed podcast you've come to know and love! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 49: She called out to the man

    20/02/2017 Duración: 02h18min

On the most recent thrilling episode of the podcast soon to be a motion picture starring and directed by Ben Affleck, the guys go on a good number of rants and railings over the shows that graced their eyeballs this week. The fun kicks off with some lively Doctor Who banter and discussion, followed by some deeper cuts into Supergirl and This is Us, and then the hard hitting questions come in: What did the guys think of the introduction of Thomas Lennon as Leo Getz on Lethal Weapon? How was "A Very Special Episode of Arrow" perceived by these critical watchers? Does Mike Still hate Emerald City? Did John seriously watch the most recent M Knight Shymalan movie? Are they seriously going on for that long about a collection of old Saturday Night Live skits? The answers to all these questions and more are locked safely inside this week's episode of What Did You Watch this Week! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 48: With a crown of roses and lavender

    14/02/2017 Duración: 02h33min

On the four dozenth episode of the tapeworm-curing podcast, the guys get deep on some shows and stuff! Marvel made some big waves this week, and the guys are loving that a lot more than the DC Universe shows, unfortunately. Mike caught up on Doctor Who finally, so there is some good discussion on that, as well as some deep digs into This is Us and the apparent self-centeredness that can grow out of once unified siblings! Throw in some chatter about the 400th episode of Law & Order: SVU and some great laughs from Santa Clarita Diet, and the time is just going to fly right by! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 47: Wearing a dandelion sun dress

    07/02/2017 Duración: 01h46min

Welcome back to the 47th astounding episode of What Did You Watch This Week, where Mike and John decided to take a break from chatting about shows this week, and instead devoted the whole episode to that nail-biter of a Superbowl! And if you believe that's even close to the truth, you obviously don't understand this show at all! In reality, the boys spent some time poking holes in all of the DC universe shows (including the tepid-at-best Powerless that premiered this week) and put up with a number of other shows that felt like real weaksauce episodes like Grimm, Big Bang Theory, and Timeless. In addition, Mike finally revisits Peter Capaldi's Doctor Who run, John talks about an older Sci Fi Channel miniseries called Tin Man, and he boys both take a big fleshy bite out of Santa Clarita Diet! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

  • Ep 46: And there stood a woman

    30/01/2017 Duración: 02h05min

Welcome back, loyal viewers, to the next installment of the Razzie Award cheering podcast! In this week's episode, the guys get back to their form by digging in deeper to the shows they watched and discussing what made them cheer and what made them boo. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a lot to boo about this week with the recent crop of DC Superhero shows, as well as Grimm still not getting back to form. The boys did both agree that This is Us still continues to be wonderful tho, and Gotham was actually pretty damned good as well! Also in this episode, John celebrates The Magicians and The Path returning, Mike follows Josh Gates in his investigation of the mystery disappearance of DB Cooper, and both of your hosts watched the premiere of Riverdale and had a lot of thoughts and feelings... Good? Bad? You'll just have to listen to find out! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
