The Brooklyn Nets went into Miami to face the Heat on Wednesday dealing with some injuries and as underdogs. They came out with the win. In a massive comeback through the second half, guys like Armoni Brooks, Lonnie Walker, and Trendon Watford led a bench barrage that got the Nets back into the game before the starters closed it out.It was one of the team’s better wins in the last couple of years and showed that this team can be more than the sum of its parts. Am Thomas, once again, led the way, this time putting up 33 points in 38 minutes on 10-17 shooting from the field and 12-14 from the line. Ben Simmons also turned in another complete performance with a near-triple-double, putting up 11 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists. Dorian Finney-Smith and Lonnie Walker turned in solid games as well and this was a team effort win.
