Hosted this week by Tobiichi Karlsson, Tomasz Chodakowski, Kyle Campbell and Zack Furniss! We talk about walking simulators and Mark Cerny as a Pizza. We've gone too far.

On this episode of The Final Battle, Tomasz Chodakowski is drunk and sick, Emma Karlholm and Tobiichi Karlsson have both played and reviewed games that they talk about and then the hosts announce how they'll be celebrating the 20th anniversary of Doom. Hint: It's a let's play of the shareware version from 1993 in co-op. I guess that gave it away entirely, I don't care. Other games that are brought up are Rayman Legends, FINAL FANTASY XIV and Killzone Shadow Fall among others.

It's a very special episode of The Final Battle in which the hosts tackle Spike's VGX awards... while watching them! Unlike normal episodes of The Final Battle, Battle X is meant to be listened to as a commentary track to the actual show. This week on The Final Battle, the trio completely tears apart one of Tobiichi's most nostalgic games from her childhood, they talk Sega Dreamcast and Sega Saturn for a bit. Mark Cerny, the patron saint of this podcast, becomes to the topic of discussion once more as the trio starts talking about Shenmue at GDC 2014 and it's all a very unstructured mess that pretends to be a professional podcast once again.

This week we talk about Metro: Last Light, Phantasy Star and the Sega Saturn. We also get on the topic of Xbox One for a little bit and talk about the big Persona event that happened this weekend.

It's a whole new generation! Of course, neither of the hosts have a PS4, Wii U or a Xbox One so they're back to talking about the stuff they talk about every single week. Tommy has finished up Tomb Raider and the trio goes through the news that happened at the PS4 All Access event as well as the nominees for Spike's VGX.

This episode of Firesides sees hosts Gregory Edwards and DJ Hansen getting nostalgic with Boss Dungeon writer Michael Carey and friend of the show Raz Hampton. They reminisce over the seventh generation of home consoles, now snuggling up in its death bed, waiting for the reaper. The group recounts their highs and lows of the generation, both with games and trends, and find out that, while companies may have taken consumers for a wild ride, they had fun with it.

Back for the first time since the very pilot episode of this podcast, it's Jonathan Holmes from Destructoid.com! We talk about donuts, Wii U, Gamecube and a bunch of things that distract us from out actual topic. The Wii's place in this generation of videogames. It's a short episode, a addendum to the earlier episode this week if you will, but we hope you like it any way!

Our major farewell to the seventh generation of videogame consoles kick off with a retrospective of the very best titles available on X-Box 360 and PlayStation 3. Joining us once again are Emma Karlholm as well as Kyle Campbell from Rely on Horror. In the third episode of The BD Firesides, Greg and DJ are once again joined by Michael Carey to discuss the Final Fantasy franchise. Memories are stirred up and everyone gets in the mood to replay at least one game in the franchise as it gets both lavished with praise and harshly lambasted.

(Discussing Old Stuff) is a podcast hosted by Tobiichi Karlsson and Tommy Walkerocious that focuses on computer gaming from the 80's and 90's. This first episode focuses on one of the most influential companies of computer gaming in 90's for both action games and platformers, Id Software. We talk about how the company was founded and tell our own stories how we were introduced to the company and their various games. We also go through every release they made one by one and talk about the game, what it accomplished and what it failed with.
