  • The Final Battle: Beyond: Two Earfs

    13/01/2014

Loadingu, loadingu, nagai no iyada. Loadingu, loadingu, mijijai kibou, tore! This week on The Final Battle, the cast talks about Alien: Isolation and how much better Golden Sun is than everything else existing in the world. We also create new careers for hollywood's finest actors in multiple games and movies.

  • The Final Battle - Game of the Year: Mark Cerny; Pizza Face

    25/12/2013

After the mysterious circumstances that caused the original episode 40 to go missing, here's The Final Battle's Game of the Year episode. Hosted this week by Tobiichi Karlsson, Tomasz Chodakowski, Kyle Campbell and Zack Furniss! We talk about walking simulators and Mark Cerny as a Pizza. We've gone too far.

  • The Final Battle: John Carmack will model for you

    10/12/2013

On this episode of The Final Battle, Tomasz Chodakowski is drunk and sick, Emma Karlholm and Tobiichi Karlsson have both played and reviewed games that they talk about and then the hosts announce how they'll be celebrating the 20th anniversary of Doom. Hint: It's a let's play of the shareware version from 1993 in co-op. I guess that gave it away entirely, I don't care. Other games that are brought up are Rayman Legends, FINAL FANTASY XIV and Killzone Shadow Fall among others.

  • Battle X - VGX 2013 Commentary Podcast: Geoff Keighley is Nico Bellic

    08/12/2013

It's a very special episode of The Final Battle in which the hosts tackle Spike's VGX awards... while watching them! Unlike normal episodes of The Final Battle, Battle X is meant to be listened to as a commentary track to the actual show. That's not to say you can't listen to it as a regular podcast, but be aware that there's no editing done and there will be moments of silence as a result. For the best experience, watch the VGX video along with the Podcast on top of it, both supplied on Boss Dungeon's website. And of course... Binge Responsibly.

  • The Final Battle: Five Jesuses Duct-Taped Together

    03/12/2013

This week on The Final Battle, the trio completely tears apart one of Tobiichi's most nostalgic games from her childhood, they talk Sega Dreamcast and Sega Saturn for a bit. Mark Cerny, the patron saint of this podcast, becomes to the topic of discussion once more as the trio starts talking about Shenmue at GDC 2014 and it's all a very unstructured mess that pretends to be a professional podcast once again.

  • The Final Battle: Just The Thought of Russia Getting Nuked

    26/11/2013

This week we talk about Metro: Last Light, Phantasy Star and the Sega Saturn. We also get on the topic of Xbox One for a little bit and talk about the big Persona event that happened this weekend.

  • The Final Battle: Space Harrier with a Nicer Ass

    22/11/2013

It's a whole new generation! Of course, neither of the hosts have a PS4, Wii U or a Xbox One so they're back to talking about the stuff they talk about every single week. Tommy has finished up Tomb Raider and the trio goes through the news that happened at the PS4 All Access event as well as the nominees for Spike's VGX.

  • The BD Firesides Episode 4: Generation Seven

    15/11/2013

This episode of Firesides sees hosts Gregory Edwards and DJ Hansen getting nostalgic with Boss Dungeon writer Michael Carey and friend of the show Raz Hampton. They reminisce over the seventh generation of home consoles, now snuggling up in its death bed, waiting for the reaper. The group recounts their highs and lows of the generation, both with games and trends, and find out that, while companies may have taken consumers for a wild ride, they had fun with it.

  • The Final Battle - Games of the Generation, Part 2: The Miley Cyrus of Videogame Blogs

    13/11/2013

Back for the first time since the very pilot episode of this podcast, it's Jonathan Holmes from Destructoid.com! We talk about donuts, Wii U, Gamecube and a bunch of things that distract us from out actual topic. The Wii's place in this generation of videogames. It's a short episode, a addendum to the earlier episode this week if you will, but we hope you like it any way!

  • The Final Battle - Games of the Generation, Part 1: Sharpins Knaiff

    12/11/2013

Our major farewell to the seventh generation of videogame consoles kick off with a retrospective of the very best titles available on X-Box 360 and PlayStation 3. Joining us once again are Emma Karlholm as well as Kyle Campbell from Rely on Horror. Don't forget to check back again this very Wednesday for the second part where we look at Wii and the generation as a whole.

  • Discussing Old Stuff - Episode 2: Looking Back at Monolith Productions

    08/11/2013

While certainly younger than some other studios we focus on, the variety of games that Monolith Productions have put out over the 19 years they've been around is worthy of mention. This week on Discussing Old Stuff, we talk about Blood, Captain Claw, F.E.A.R., TRON 2.0, Condemened, No One Lives Forever and more. Enjoy!

  • The Final Battle: Emotional Impact: Beyond Two Dammes

    01/11/2013

  • The Final Battle: David Cage presents Aliens Pig

    29/10/2013

Guesting with us this week is Kyle Campbell from Rely On Horror who was one of the hosts at this weekend's Scarity Event. • The Final Battle: The Valcano Erupts

    21/10/2013

This week on The Final Battle our lovely hosts talk about old games on Steam, the incident with TotalBisquit and Day One: Garry's Incident, games we played longer than other games and a whole lot of Grand Theft Auto V and Quake talk. Zack Furniss gets on in the end to talk a little as well, and then we read out MetaCritic user reviews out loud for our own amusement.

  • The BD Firesides Episode 2: Tales

    18/10/2013

Our hosts are joined by fellow Boss Dungeon writer Michael Carey for discussion about the Tales JRPG franchise. They discuss every game they've played in the series, as well as some of the additional media such as the Tales of Vesperia prequel movie. (Spoilers: Tales of Vesperia is beloved)

  • The Final Battle: Major Nelson Flies Away on his Magic Cloud

    07/10/2013

Greg went to a event and played the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One and gives his impression on games such as Watch_Dogs, Dead Rising 3, RYSE: Son of Rome, Knack and others. We speak about how Grand Theft Auto V suggests that the earlier of the two weekend days happen to just be splendid for fisticuffs and there ends up being a surprisingly detailed yet spoiler-free talk about Disgaea D2. While Tommy gets to speak a good bit about Amiga and Tobiichi gets to gush about Shadow Warrior, the group agrees that they all really just want to party all the time. Party all the time. Party all the time. ... ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!?
