Andrew this week has guest Paul Taylor. He is the director of The Mount Saint Helens Creation Center. Paul has been speaking on creation and apologetics, and against evolution, for over 35 years. He taught science in public (government) schools in the UK for nearly 20 years. He has worked with ministries such as Answers in Genesis and Creation Today, and has spoken in Britain, Ireland, Europe and across the United States, in churches and at conferences. The racism issue is a cultural divide but the social justice warriors are destroying the church with this division now. A hotly debated issue within the church is the roles between men and women.  The question asked often, is there a difference between men and women in the church and can women serve in any function or are they limited.  The position known as egalitarianism teaches that women can serve in any role no different than the man.  A competing view of that, and the biblical one is complementarianism.  This is a teaching that God has ordained certain roles only for men within the church and the household.  Our culture would see this as a major problem.  However, we get our instructions as Christians from God and not culture. Andrew talks with Dawain Atkinson from The B.A.R. Podcast about black churches in a America. B.A.R. stands for Biblical and reformed. Dawain discusses his upbringing and how he came to Christ. He was in the Word of Faith movement and at one point even called an “apostle”.  He went from being a player to an “apostle” to being reformed. Dawain shares how men like Justin Peters, John MacArthur and others helped him come to biblical faith. Then the discussion came to how did he lead his wife out of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR). Dawain gives good advice for leading a wife to a Biblical position. Andrew and Dawain discuss the black churches and reformed theology. Chaz Bono says, “There's a gender in your brain and a gender in your body. For 99% of people, those things are in alignment. For transgender people, their mismatch. That's all it is. It's not complicated, it's not a neurosis. It's a mix up. It's a birth defect, like a cleft palate." This quote is an attempt to normalize the definition by providing new terms. When we deal with transgender is and we're dealing with a new definition of terminology in an attempt to normalize something that was previously identified as a mental illness. One transgender remembrance Day poster stated, "34% of trans people attempt suicide.  64% are bullied.  73% of trans people are harassed in public.  21% of trans people avoid going out in public due to fear."  Now even if the statistics are accurate, there is no comparison to the statistics and other groups. With America allowing Mulsim immigrants into the country, many people believe that we should not allow them in because they will take over the country. However, as Christians should we be more concerned with sharing the gospel with them than the effects on our country? Many Muslims have no opportunity to hear the gospel in their Muslim countries.
