Locked On Nets

The Brooklyn Nets opened the season against the Cleveland Cavaliers and the main story was the record-breaking performance from Cam Thomas who piled in 35 points off the bench. It was the most points off the bench by a player on opening night and Thomas single-handedly kept the Nets in the game early after they fell behind.In the end though Brooklyn couldn’t close out a game in which they had a lead late. Donovan Mitchell hit a go-ahead three and the Nets couldn’t get a quality clean shot to end the game.Overall, there were positives to take away from this performance but a loss is a loss and that’s how the Nets start the season.
