Isaiah 55 offers a powerful invitation from God to all people—an open call to receive life, mercy, and covenant promises without cost. In verses 1–3a and 6–7, we see a universal invitation extended to the thirsty and the hungry, calling them to seek the Lord while He may be found. This appeal is not limited by wealth or status, but is freely offered to all who repent and turn to Him.In verses 3b–4, God reaffirms His everlasting covenant, rooted in the faithful love promised to David—a covenant ultimately fulfilled in Christ, the eternal King (Luke 1:30–33).
