Genpres has again moved the programme to London where Tom visits Crystal Palace co-owner Stephen Browett. Browett was one of four local lads who in 2010 saved the club from going bust. He grew up very close to Selhurst Park where he became a Palace fan very early in his life. Since then he became a millionaire importing wine. And together with three others with similar stories they stepped in and saved the club from going bankrupt. Back then the club was in The Championship. Since the club got promoted to Premier League and is now in its longest spell ever in the best English league. To make us all the wiser on Palace in the programme is also Dominic Fifield. Fifield covers the London clubs for The Guardian and is a lifelong Palace fan. In the programme, you’ll learn more about the history of the club and hear why Palace unlike West Ham, Tottenham and Arsenal is not going to be moving away from the roots and – in the case of West Ham and Arsenal – into bigger but far more silent arenas.
