Sterling Cates is a writer, host, and podcaster originally from North Carolina, based in Los Angeles. As an advocate for social justice and women's rights, her hope is to share meaningful stories that can cause cultural shifts while inspiring people to be in action. As a burn survivor, her goal is to spread a message of self love and acceptance. As Beyoncé’s number one fan, well nevermind, don’t get her started. Currently, Sterling is a senior associate producer for the Lady Gang TV show. She is formerly a senior writer for PerezHilton.com, host for Afterbuzz TV, and also produces and co-hosts her passion project, the Separation Anxiety Podcast, where she and her long-distance best friend Tricia Cleppe discuss some of life's most pressing issues facing women in their 20’s while hopefully leaving listeners feeling more informed, empowered, and heard.
