Scripture Reading: Matthew 5:23-24 Intro: This teaching from Jesus challenging our revenge-oriented world to seek reconciliation. And in Matthew's gospel, it means immediately, we never know what tomorrow brings, Christ’s return or our arrival into eternity. "Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift at the altar and go. First make things right with your brother or sister and then come back and offer your gift."   A word of God for a people of God. Thanks be to God. Amen.
