Not So Kosher

Ali Sul­tan is a stand up co­me­dian from the coun­try of Yemen. He has performed in NYC’s Arab Com­edy Fes­ti­val at the leg­endary Gotham Com­edy Club. Heard on Laugh­ing Mat­ters, Cane and Com­pany, and WCCO radio. He also per­formed in The Big Brown Hour at the Comic Strip with The Daily Show’s cor­re­spon­dent Aasif Mandvi. In 2013 he won Rick Bron­son’s House of Com­edy’s Fun­ni­est Per­son With a Day Job con­test. Later in that year he won Acme’s 2013 Twin Cities Fun­ni­est Per­son, mak­ing him the first comic to win both ti­tles. His style in­cludes ob­ser­va­tional humor, and short sto­ries about life, and his ex­pe­ri­ence as an Arab Amer­i­can. He re­cently made his debut on Al­manac on tpt.
