"Wanna race?” Most of us remember the thrill of a race as kids racing during recess, or perhaps it was that shot of adrenaline as we lined up on the track during P.E. class. Of course, once a race is decided upon, there are the obvious questions that follow: “Where are we racing to?”, “Where are we starting from?”, and finally, “How do we know when to go?” Ironically, these questions hold a lot of weight for the twenty-first-century church as well. But there's also something that happens after these questions and before the race—the waiting.
