Erica wasn’t raised in a Christian home, and had no idea about the Lord and His plan for her life. Instead, she went through “a lot of pain and a lot of trauma,” which left her feeling “broken, worthless, with no self-confidence, without self-esteem. I thought I was ugly, unworthy of anything good … it’s hard to believe anything but the lies that the devil tells you.” Thanks to the Lord’s work in her life, “I have hope now; ... I know He has a purpose for me.” The Lord has awakened in her spiritual gifts of evangelism and shepherding, and He gives her opportunities to share “His love and His Word.” Erica says, “There’s always hope.
