  • “No King? What Now? - What Happens When There Is No King” | Judges 19

“No King? What Now? - What Happens When There Is No King” | Judges 19

    11/10/2026 Duración: 48min

Judges 19 is one of the darkest chapters in all of Scripture, and it carries a warning that is just as relevant today as it was in ancient Israel. The repeated phrase throughout the book of Judges, that there was no king in Israel and everyone did what was right in his own eyes, is not a political observation but a spiritual diagnosis. Every villain in this chapter is one of God's own people, which reveals how far a nation can fall when God is no longer recognized as the true authority. Israel was called to be a blessing to the nations, set apart and distinct, but instead became indistinguishable from the culture around them. The same danger exists for followers of Christ today. When self becomes the standard, there is no limit to how far things can fall. But this dark chapter ultimately points us toward the King we desperately need. That King is Jesus Christ, who sacrifices Himself for His people rather than sacrificing His people for Himself.

  • “God’s Work of Redemption” | Genesis 44-45:9

    “God’s Work of Redemption” | Genesis 44-45:9

    04/10/2026 Duración: 46min

God's sovereignty is on full display in Genesis 44 and 45, where Joseph's story reaches one of its most powerful turning points. After testing his brothers to see if they had truly changed, Joseph witnesses Judah offer himself as a substitute so that Benjamin can go free. This act of sacrificial love mirrors the gospel itself, pointing forward to what Jesus Christ would one day do for all of humanity. When Joseph finally reveals his identity, he does not respond with bitterness or revenge. Instead, he declares that God sent him to Egypt, reframing years of suffering, slavery, and injustice as part of a divine plan to preserve life. God does not waste our pain. He redeems it, working even our worst moments into something that serves His eternal purposes.

  • “Obedience or Convenience?” | Judges 18

“Obedience or Convenience?” | Judges 18

    27/09/2026 Duración: 41min

Freedom in Christ is real, but it is not a license to live however we want. The book of Judges shows us what happens when God's people stop looking to Him and start doing what feels right to them. The tribe of Dan abandoned the land God had given them, seeking an easier path, and it led to generations of spiritual ruin. True freedom is not found in following our own hearts but in growing closer to God until we freely choose to obey Him. Sanctification is the process by which our desires align with His, and that alignment is where real joy and peace are found. Freedom and obedience are not opposites. They are two sides of the same life God designed for us.

  • “Evidence of Mercy” | Genesis 43

“Evidence of Mercy” | Genesis 43

    20/09/2026 Duración: 41min

Mercy is not just a theological concept. It is a lived reality that transforms people from the inside out. Genesis 43 shows this through the story of Joseph and his brothers, where mercy is both received and reflected in powerful ways. Judah, a man with a deeply shameful past, steps up as a trustworthy leader because God's grace had already changed him. Jacob releases his sons into God's care, trusting El Shaddai with what he cannot control. Joseph, despite being deeply wronged, prepares a feast for his brothers rather than punishing them. True mercy always produces visible evidence in the lives of those who have genuinely received it. When God's mercy truly lands in our hearts, it changes how we handle our past, how we trust Him with our future, and how we treat the people who have hurt us.

  • “A Test of Mercy” | Genesis 42

    “A Test of Mercy” | Genesis 42

    13/09/2026 Duración: 44min

Joseph had every reason to retaliate against the brothers who betrayed him, yet he chose mercy instead. When his brothers arrived in Egypt desperate for food, Joseph tested their hearts rather than exposing them to shame or punishment. He provided grain, returned their money, and sent them home with provisions, none of which they had earned. This mirrors the grace described in Ephesians 2, where God, rich in mercy, made us alive in Christ even while we were dead in our sin. The brothers' growing conviction over their past wrong reflects how genuine repentance works. Transformation, not perfection, is the evidence that mercy has truly been received. Those who have genuinely experienced God's forgiveness will find that mercy flowing outward toward others, even those who have caused deep pain. God's plans run deeper than our pain, and the mercy He extends to us is meant to move through us to the people around us.

  • “Rescued by God” | Genesis 41

“Rescued by God” | Genesis 41

    06/09/2026 Duración: 51min

Joseph endured betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment before God elevated him to second in command over all of Egypt. When Pharaoh was troubled by dreams no one could interpret, Joseph stood before him and made clear that the ability to interpret came from God, not from himself. The years of suffering had produced in Joseph a humility that his younger self did not possess. God had placed Joseph in exactly the right position to preserve His people from a devastating famine, fulfilling promises made to Abraham centuries earlier. Joseph's life foreshadows the work of Jesus Christ, who also suffered unjustly and rose to the highest position of all in order to rescue people from what they could never escape on their own. Whether you are in a season of waiting or a season of blessing, the invitation is the same: define yourself not by your circumstances, but by the faithfulness of God.

  • “Self-made Faith Brings Spiritual Ruin” | Judges 17

“Self-made Faith Brings Spiritual Ruin” | Judges 17

    30/08/2026 Duración: 39min

Judges 17 paints a sobering picture of what happens when people abandon God's authority and begin doing whatever seems right to them. A man named Micah steals from his own mother, sets up a personal shrine filled with idols, and hires a wandering Levite to serve as his private priest, all while invoking God's name over the entire arrangement. His story is not an isolated incident but a representative snapshot of an entire nation that had drifted so far from God they no longer even called out to Him. The same tendencies are alive today in a culture that celebrates personal truth and a version of God shaped around individual preferences. God has given us clear guidelines for worship, community, and how we relate to one another, and those guidelines are not suggestions. Walking away from the body of Christ or reshaping faith around personal comfort leads to the same corruption and chaos seen in Judges 17. We are called to do things God's way, not our own, because that is where His blessing lives.

  • “Surrender Is Where Strength Begins.” | Judges 16

“Surrender Is Where Strength Begins.” | Judges 16

    23/08/2026 Duración: 37min

Samson is often remembered as a hero of great physical strength, but his life tells a deeper story about pride, compromise, and the transforming power of surrender. Throughout Judges 16, we see a man who was called by God yet spent most of his life operating on his own terms, toying with temptation and treating his relationship with God casually. His failures cost him everything, including his sight, his freedom, and his dignity. Yet in his darkest moment, chained and blind in a Philistine prison, Samson finally prayed with genuine humility and asked God to use him one last time. God answered in a way that no amount of human strength could have produced. His story is a powerful reminder that God's promises outlast our failures, and that true strength is never found in self-reliance. Surrender is not the end of the story. For Samson, it was where the story finally began.

  • “We Don’t Use God. He Uses Us!” | Judges 15

“We Don’t Use God. He Uses Us!” | Judges 15

    16/08/2026 Duración: 41min

Samson was chosen by God to deliver Israel, but his story in Judges 15 reveals a man driven by impulse, pride, and self-reliance. He fought battles on his own terms, took credit for victories that belonged to God, and treated God more like a backup plan than a constant presence. Even so, God remained faithful, not because Samson earned it, but because God is faithful to His purposes. The same is true for us. We are tempted to rely on our own abilities, forget what God has done, and celebrate our wins without acknowledging the One who made them possible. God does not abandon us in our confusion, but our failure to recognize Him as the source of our strength keeps us from growing into who He is calling us to be. The question is not whether God is at work in your life. The question is whether you are paying attention.

  • “Faithful Where You Are” | Genesis 39:21-40:23

“Faithful Where You Are” | Genesis 39:21-40:23

    09/08/2026 Duración: 39min

Joseph's journey through slavery, false accusation, and imprisonment is one of the Bible's most powerful pictures of faithfulness under pressure. Like the Chinese bamboo tree that grows unseen for years before shooting up dramatically, God was building deep roots in Joseph long before anything visible happened. Even in prison, God's steadfast love was present, and Joseph continued to show up, use his gifts, and point others to God rather than to himself. Being forgotten by the cupbearer for two years could have broken him, but Joseph remained ready. Suffering is not God punishing His people. It is often God preparing them. True faithfulness is rooted in who God is, not in how life is going, and the fruitfulness of our lives flows from that faithfulness.

  • “What Seems Right, pt. 18” | Judges 14

“What Seems Right, pt. 18” | Judges 14

    02/08/2026 Duración: 54min

Samson's story in Judges 14 is a powerful warning about what happens when we let our eyes lead our hearts instead of trusting God. Like Israel in his day, many of us are caught in cycles of chasing what looks good, feels right, or promises happiness, only to find that it leaves us empty. Samson's impulsive decisions cost him his marriage, his relationships, and ultimately his sense of purpose. God's grace is real and He can work through our mistakes, but that grace does not erase the earthly consequences of our choices. True peace is not found in the things that catch our attention. It is found in Christ alone. The challenge for each of us is to let the Word of God lead our decisions rather than our feelings or impulses.

  • “What Seems Right, pt. 17” | Judges 13

“What Seems Right, pt. 17” | Judges 13

    26/07/2026 Duración: 44min

God's purpose for your life does not wait for you to have everything figured out. In Judges 13, He moved toward a barren woman in a struggling tribe, setting apart her unborn son as a Nazirite before he ever took his first breath. Even when Israel had drifted from Him for decades, God remained faithful to His plan. Preparation for that plan began not with Samson, but with his mother's obedience. The same is true for us today. God is not looking for perfection before He acts. He is looking for hearts that are willing to be set apart and ready. The question worth asking is whether we are preparing for what He has already purposed.

  • “What Seems Right, pt. 16” | Judges 12

“What Seems Right, pt. 16” | Judges 12

    19/07/2026 Duración: 31min

Unforgiveness is one of the most quietly destructive forces in a person's life. The story of Jephthah and the Ephraimites in Judges 12 reveals what happens when pride goes unchecked and forgiveness is withheld across an entire nation. Israel lost its humility, its unity, and its godly leadership, all because no one was willing to back down. Jesus modeled the opposite on the cross, extending forgiveness in the most unforgivable situation imaginable. If He could do that, we are called to do the same. Forgiveness is not saying what happened was okay. It is releasing your grip on the wound so God can work freely in your life again.

  • Favored Yet Fleeing | Genesis 39:1-20

"Favored Yet Fleeing" | Genesis 39:1-20

    12/07/2026 Duración: 38min

Joseph's story in Genesis 39 is a powerful reminder that God's presence does not depend on our circumstances. Sold into slavery, falsely accused, and thrown into prison, Joseph remained faithful at every stage because his eyes were fixed on God rather than on his situation. When temptation came through Potiphar's wife, he did not negotiate or linger. He fled, because he understood that sin is first and foremost an offense against a holy God. Doing the right thing did not spare him from suffering, but it did not separate him from God either. The Lord was with Joseph in the pit, in the palace, and in the prison, and He is with us in the same way today.

  • The Perfect Patience of Gods Mercy | Genesis 38

"The Perfect Patience of God's Mercy" | Genesis 38

    05/07/2026 Duración: 56min

Genesis 38 is one of the most uncomfortable chapters in the Bible, filled with moral failure, broken promises, and desperate choices. Yet buried inside this difficult passage is one of the most encouraging truths in Scripture: God accomplishes His plans through broken, imperfect people. Judah walked away from God's people, made compromises, and raised sons who amplified his own failures. Tamar was wronged by every man in her life and took desperate measures to secure her future. When Judah's hidden sin was finally exposed, he owned it, and something in him changed. Ten generations later, through the line of Judah and Tamar, Jesus Christ entered the world. God does not require a clean record. He requires a repentant heart.

  • What Seems Right, pt. 15 | Judges 11

"What Seems Right, pt. 15" | Judges 11

    28/06/2026 Duración: 38min

Most of us have whispered a version of the same prayer: God, if You do this for me, I will do that for You. The story of Jephthah in Judges 11 shows us just how dangerous that kind of conditional faith can be. Jephthah was a mighty warrior, rejected by his own family, who rose to lead Israel against the Ammonites. Before the battle, he made a rash vow to God, promising to sacrifice whatever came out of his house first upon his return. He won the battle, but his daughter was the one who came running out to greet him. His tragedy was not the result of being a bad person. It happened because his understanding of who God truly is was deeply flawed. When we approach God with conditions and transactions rather than trust and gratitude, we reveal a theology that needs to be rebuilt on the truth of who He actually is.

  • What Seems Right, pt. 14 | Judges 10

"What Seems Right, pt. 14" | Judges 10

    21/06/2026 Duración: 35min

Israel's story in Judges 10 is a warning about the danger of spiritual complacency. During a long season of peace, the people drifted from God and eventually fell into deeper rebellion than ever before. The consequences were severe, and when they cried out for help, their repentance was shallow. It lacked any real desire for transformation or acknowledgment of their need for grace. True repentance is not just a cry to escape a difficult situation. It is a genuine turning of the heart back to God, accompanied by a change of behavior rooted in gratitude for His mercy. The cycle of spiritual failure only breaks when we stop treating God as a last resort and start treating Him as our first love.

  • Dreams, Jealousy, and Divine Purpose | Genesis 37

"Dreams, Jealousy, and Divine Purpose" | Genesis 37

    14/06/2026 Duración: 45min

Joseph's story in Genesis 37 reveals how God works through difficult circumstances to accomplish His greater plan. At seventeen, Joseph was favored by his father Jacob and received prophetic dreams showing his future prominence. His brothers' hatred, fueled by favoritism and jealousy, led them to sell him into slavery. Yet God's sovereignty was evident throughout - from the dreams themselves to the providential timing of traders heading to Egypt. Joseph's experiences parallel Christ's rejection and ultimate exaltation. This narrative teaches us that God uses even betrayal and suffering to position us for His purposes, working all things together for good even when we can't see the bigger picture.

  • What Seems Right, Pt 13 | Judges 9

"What Seems Right, Pt 13" | Judges 9

    07/06/2026 Duración: 47min

The story of Abimelech in Judges 9 reveals how pride and ambition can destroy entire communities. Gideon, despite being a godly leader, fell into the trap of pride by taking his eyes off God and focusing on himself. His son Abimelech took this pride to horrifying levels, murdering 69 brothers to seize power. Jotham's parable of the trees warned that choosing worthless leaders leads to destruction. This story challenges us to examine what we're teaching others through our daily choices and priorities. Are we demonstrating that God is our highest priority, or are we more concerned with position, control, and personal ambitions?

  • What Seems Right, Pt 12 | Judges 8

What Seems Right, Pt 12 | Judges 8

    31/05/2026 Duración: 34min

Many Christians today have been taught that the gospel is all about them - their identity, benefits, and promises from God. While containing truth, this teaching misses the bigger picture and leaves believers unprepared for hardships. The story of Gideon in Judges 8 reveals what happens when we make ourselves the center of God's story instead of recognizing that everything exists for His glory. After his miraculous victory, Gideon transforms from a humble leader seeking God's guidance to someone operating on personal initiative and accepting praise meant for God. His decline shows how dangerous it is to make Christianity about our benefits rather than God's glory. When we center faith on ourselves, we set up both ourselves and others for spiritual failure.
