This is because, 20 years ago she was unhappy with the way Western medicine was treating her and she became her own advocate and researcher. In long term recovery, when she was experiencing unbearable back pain, she did not look to the typical opiod medications as a solution. She took care of her body and mind with yoga and meditation, which helped tremendously, yet, she was still in pain. Until one day a friend of hers gave her a bottle of CBD oil. She was wary and was afraid it would trigger her addictions again. So she thought about it for a couple days and then decided to give it a try.Her mind was blown, her pain was gone and she could sleep through the night. CBD did the trick. Lane is a proponent of taking care of your mind and body first, before looking to the outside for help. 127 Remembering Ryan Correy
09/05/2018 Duración: 23minRyan Correy was a friend of mine. He died on April 29, 2018 after battling stage 4 colon and liver cancer for 9 months. He was only 35 yet crammed a lifetime of adventure, inspiration, and goodness into those few years. I'm reminded of the Billy Joel song "Only The Good Die Young". I met Ryan in 2007 when I was racing against him in the Race Across Oregon. We had been leapfrogging all day and swapped adventure stories each time one of us passed the other. I liked the guy immediately. For a 24 year old, he was very sage, worldly and had a drive and likability that doesn't come around very often. He went on to do many great things before the cancer caught him - including winning a 24 hour, solo, mountain bike race after experiencing the symptoms of colon cancer.
