God speaks prophetic words to give us comfort and direction. His word invites us to align with prioritizing the desires of His heart above fulfilling the desires of ours. In 2022, let’s purpose to, as Daniel did, set our hearts to understand and walk humbly before the Lord. In this there is a powerful key to breakthrough.

The prophet Daniel got a visitation from God that set up the coming of Christ 400 years later. That visitation was sparked by a prayer for his nation and people. The weight of that prayer could be applied to our nation today, and perhaps, if we will follow the pattern of that prayer, God will give us further understanding of how to walk in wisdom in the days ahead.

When Isaiah had his eyes opened (in Isaiah 6) to see the Burning Ones with six wings in the presence of God, he may have handed something to us of great value that goes far beyond merely an amazing story. These burning ones can give us some incredible insight into how we are to serve and worship God.

We are empowered toward ministry through the quality of time we spend in the presence of the Lord. What does it look like to enter into your “prayer closet” and how did Jesus model that lifestyle? Time spent with Jesus is never wasted.

God has released a gift of grace to a stressed out generation. Matthew 6 is a supernatural comfort for the soul, mind, and spirit. When you allow the Lord to change your perspective, the anchors of anxiety will be removed from your life. Bill Vanderbush
