This last week in country music was different than most-- artists shared their opinions on subjects not often discussed. Anderson East and Miranda Lambert spoke out against lip-syncing (Garth Brooks) and Keith Urban used his voice and platform to speak out for women.

This year's list of CMA Awards nominees are full of surprises and a few shoe-ins. A few new names are on the ballots and couple that haven't been on the ballot in a while are there-- Taylor Swift and Reba McEntire. But, who's actually going to walk away with a trophy or two?
