Kellen, Randy, and Steph end the year by beginning the final season of Avatar with "The Awakening," "The Headband," and "The Painted Lady." The trio also discusses an added sexuality to the third season and the leaked Legend of Korra footage, and a 24-episode streak without a score below five will end.

The Fire Nation strikes back in the final two episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender's second season: "The Guru" and "The Crossroads of Destiny." And the trio have plenty to say about it.

As the trio make their way towards the end of the second season, it appears the fans have decided their next series in an entertaining batch of e-mails. Then the gang gets to work in reviewing "Appa's Lost Days", "Lake Laogai" and "The Earth King."

"City of Walls and Secrets" and "Tales of Ba Sing Se" are the two episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender up for discussion today.

It's been a while since the last episode, but the gang is back again to discuss "The Library," "The Desert," "The Serpent's Pass," and "The Drill."

In "The Swamp" the madness is runnin' wild, or is the titular wetland truly mystical? In "Avatar Day" we see the return of the one man too hot to handle and too cold to hold. That's right, The Blue Spirit is back. In "The Blind Bandit" we meet Toph, and we get some awesome nods to pro wrestling greats of the past. What a novel concept.

In "The Avatar State," an Earth Kingdom general thinks his plan to toy with Aang's mind and body is foolproof... or is it? In "The Cave of Two Lovers," the gang meets up with a groups of nomadic hippies, and Aang and Kattara share their first kiss... or do they? Finally in "Return to Omashu," the gang returns to Omashu, which means more Bumi... or does it?

The trio finish the first season of Avatar: The Last Airbender by taking a look at the two-part season finale "The Siege of the North." Listen as Kellen, Randy, and Steph gush about Iroh and Zuko, color correction, and the timely demise of the worst character in the history of the show. Also, plenty of your feedback.

Today, on a very special episode of Avatar: The Last Podcast, we deal with tough social issues such as sexism, nepotism, cultural preservation, and fire safety as we look through three more episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender: "The Deserter," "The Northern Air Temple," and "The Waterbending Master."

Like all good New Year's episodes, this one starts with a 10 and follows with a 1. In "The Blue Spirit," Aang is kidnapped by the newly promoted Admiral Zhao. In "The Fortuneteller," the Aang Gang needs to save a town from a volcanic eruption. And in "Bato of the Water Tribe," Katarra and Sokka meet a friend from back home, and Zuko and Iroh meet a bounty hunter named June.

In "Jet," Katara falls for a sweet-talking terrorist. In "The Great Divide" the gang decides to walk across a canyon (it's exciting as it sounds). And in "The Storm" we learn the histories of both Aang and Zuko. Also, Kellen gives out the most controversial score yet.

Aang makes his first trip to the Spirit World in the first part of The Winter Solstice two-parter "The Spirit World." In the second part, "Avatar Roku," Aang connects to his past self. Finally, in "The Waterbending Scroll," Katarra steals a Waterbending Scroll from a group of pirates. Also, Kellen and Steph's shipping war continues.

In "The Warriors of Kyoshi" we see the debut of Suki, and get to see just how badass the titular warriors can be. In "The King of Omashu" we are introduced to Bumi and laugh the entire way. Finally, in "Imprisoned" we meet nobody of real importance to the overall story, but George Takei makes a funny guest appearance. Can't win 'em all I guess.

Five years ago, a television show debuted that blurred the lines of Western and Eastern animation, pushing the boundaries of what could be done in a children's cartoon. And today, Avatar: the Last Airbender is considered a modern classic.
