Stan Cotten has been a radio broadcast for more than 40 years.  Starting as the decade-long voice of Carson-Newman, Cotten climbed the ranks before earning the job at Wake Forest in the late '90's. Cotten talks on this episode about rising through those ranks, his broadcast memories of Chris Paul and Tim Duncan, the nuts and bolts of how he approaches broadcasting and so much more.

Neil Price is the Voice of the Bulldogs at Mississippi State following more than a decade at the University of Kentucky  and Middle Tennessee before that.   This week Price talks about his path, working with Mike Leach, broadcasting the NCAA Tournament, What does and doesn't go on his chart and more.

Alex Del Barrio is a national TV voice on CBS Sports Network, seen jet setting across the country during college football and basketball season. Until recently ADB also worked in local television in his home market of the Rio Grande Valley and before that had two of the most unique experiences of a guest on this show: working as Alex Reyes in the WWE and traveling the world with the Harlem Globetrotters.

Sloane Martin used to play in her college's women's basketball game, change and run courtside to broadcast the men's games.  She carved her way into a career as a news reporter on radio (in two cities) and eventually cracked into the WNBA and then network television.  She's now a regular on B1G Network.

Gideon Cohen went to Syracuse like many of us ... wanting to be the next great play-by-play announcer.  An internship right out of college forever changed his path, however, and Gideon is now one of the top agents in sports broadcasting. Cohen talks about how he became an agent, how he sees broadcasting now that he's on the business side of it and what truly makes good play-by-play.

It's the 200th episode of PxPCast and we've got a really great guest.  Meghan McKeown is one of the rising stars of the college basketball broadcasting world ... and just so happens to have been TV partners with Joel when she got her start in color commentary. McKeown talks about doing her role well as an analyst, how she works with her play-by-play partners, being the daughter of a college coach, calling big-time moments, betting on yourself and more.

Mike Roth has been a producer and director across events like the NHL, NWSL and maybe most notably the CrossFit Games.  Rothy talks about the uniqueness of producing the CrossFit Games and discovering how to broadcast a sport on TV for the first time.  Beyond that he talks about working together as a team on broadcasts.

Seattle Mariners broadcaster, and a national TV voice during the college season, Dave Sims is our guest this week.   Dave talks about handling the big moments and processing the scene as you're making the call, his roots in broadcasting and media and how that's made him a better play-by-play voice, not being hesitant to ask the question and more.

Matt Schumacker is the house-selling play-by-play broadcaster. A full-time real estate agent, because he needed to find a way to put food on the table, his work and ability in the play-by-play world also paid off and now he also is seen nationwide on your screen covering the Big Ten, Chicago Sky, BIG EAST and more.

Jason Ross Jr. is one of the biggest up-and-coming voices in network TV play-by-play and is a commonly heard voice around the Detroit and Chicago areas as well. Ross Jr. dives into his full process, taking improve, broadcasting the Special Olympics, his prep and more.

Connor Onion is seen all over.  Literally.  The up-and-comer is seen on three major networks and is a staple of the coverage on BTN.  This fall was a particularly momentous one for Connor, who called the match with a world-record crowd for Nebraska volleyball.

Drew Carter is one of the biggest rising names in the TV play-by-play business, joining the Boston Celtics broadcast this season and calling road games for legendary Mike Gorman. Carter talks about his first season in the NBA, working in local television in Alabama, getting his break with ESPN and what it means to put together a show.

Biko Skalla isn't a Broadcaster ... he's a Broadcast Entertainer and he's the voice of one of the most unique teams in all of sports, the Savannah Bananas. Biko talks about everything that's different about his job and everything that's, well, not all that different about what you'll find on a Banana's broadcast vs any other baseball call.

Everett Fitzhugh was announced as the first African-American team broadcaster in the NHL when the Kraken tapped the voice of the Cincinnati Cyclones to join their crew.  Fitzhugh talks how he wound up in hockey, interviewing Doc Emrick, finding his was to the NHL, why he listens to everybody throughout the season and more.

Jon Anik wasn't an MMA guy.  He was into boxing ... and that opened the door for him to become ESPN's MMA guy ... and that opened the door to broadcasting play-by-play for Bellator ... which eventually led to a job with UFC in 2011.  Anik is now the lead voice of the UFC and the guest on episode 191 of PxPCast.

The former voice at both Bucknell and UMass, Bob Behler has settled in for more than a decade now as the Voice of the Broncos at Boise State University.  Bob takes us on his professional journey and how he approaches his work at Boise State today.

Steve Raible is one of the most recognizable media personalities in the pacific northwest.  The former nightly news anchor on KIRO 7, Raible has been on the Seahawks team as a player, analyst or pxp voice since the team's inception.  He's called three Super Bowls and interviewed three presidents of the United States and this week he details all of it on PxPCast.

Cory Provus has worked alongside some of the most iconic names in baseball broadcasting, cracking the MLB at age 28 with Ron Santo and Pat Hughes and then teaming with Mr. Baseball himself in Milwaukee.  Provus is now the voice of the Minnesota Twins on radio and takes a detailed approach to his game.
