We are all struggling but most of us dont share what is going on in our lives and then we feel isolated. You are going to hear women share what they have learned so far in their lives, what they would do differently and what they want for their future.

After starting her own family, Lauren began to notice her mother's narcissistic behavior and tendency to create unnecessary drama in the family.  Lauren made the very difficult decision to no longer have a relationship with her mother.  By not having a relationship with her mother, she is not able to have a relationship with her father or sister either.  In this interview, we discuss Lauren's difficult decision and what her life is like now.  Thanks for listening!

    My guest today is Kristen Jack, also known as KJ.  I met KJ while volunteering with Mercy Ships.  She has a the unique ability to be very honest and kind at the same time.  I was immediately drawn to her no bullshit approach to life on the ship!  She will leave Mercy Ships this Fall after being there 5 years.  Life has its ups and downs no matter where you are.  It doesn't matter if you are in the U.S. with a husband and kids or single and living on a ship in West Africa.  This episode is a great reminder that it is all about what you make of your situation.
