  • Paleo Diet Myths

    One of the most popular diets today is the Paleo diet. Also known as Paleolithic diet, Stone Age diet, hunter-gatherer diet and the caveman diet. It's a dietary plan supposedly based on foods similar to what might have been eaten during the Paleolithic era, except they are not really similar at all. Anyone on Paleo eating bark, just like our cave ancestors did? How about weeds and acorns?  Plus, how much protein do modern humans need? Not as much as you think. Dr. Ellen also has a great longevity tip about an aging antidote that can literally help people turn back the clock physically and psychologically. Eating at least 20 grams of nuts a day (that's about 20 almonds or 2 tablespoons of peanut butter) could cut the chances of dying from respiratory disease by about half and type 2 diabetes by nearly 40%.
