Flip Out Radio is a comedy podcast hosted by Cathy Sitzes and Therese Garcia. Episodes will center around storytelling and interviews with women-identified folks, femmes, queers and/or gender non-conforming badasses who are redefining film, music, comedy, art and life in general.

  • Episode #04 - Cheryl’s Survivor Story and the Little Flower of Jesus

    Cheryl worked at Loomis for several years driving an armored vehicle. She conducted daily pick-up’s and deliveries to various banks, ATMS and businesses across the Bay Area. On the morning of August 24th, 2011 during a stop at Wells Fargo in Pinole, CA, Cheryl was jumped by two men attempting to rob the bank. What followed was a violent altercation that ended with one of the assailants dead, Cheryl shot in the hip and bleeding out on the street and the other assailant critically injured.
