We share some of our thoughts and reflections on Ramadan so far. We also know how tough the working life, world and application processes can be for young people, so we share some of our stories, experiences and recent struggles with this and advise where we can.

It's been exactly three weeks since the Christchurch, New Zealand attacks so join Khalid and Samrah as they reflect on the events, lessons learned and pray for all those affected by this and many other similar tragedies unfortunately. We delve into the admiration of Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern's leadership and how society should follow suit in speaking up for the injustices faced no matter the skin colour or religion. Also, Samrah shares her recent trip to Romania where she reflected on her own life and the importance of a clear mind / mental wellbeing. 

Pilot Episode: Join us as we discuss the misrepresentation of Islam in The Economist’s recent documentary and how the media plays its part in the growth of Islamophobia. We discuss the misuse and mockery of Blackface by fashion houses Gucci, Prada and Moncler on their recent runways which further highlights the lack of representation of ethnic backgrounds in these industries. Why is this happening in 2019? Are we (society) desensitised to these topics? How can we tackle this?
