    We've entered into a new season at the Skillman Church of Christ where we are offering a set of new, exciting, engaging classes during the Sunday Bible hour.  One of the classes is the Gospel According to the Avett Brothers led by Lee Branch.  We put the call in the class to send in and submit songs that they resonate with or that move them in the ways of spirituality.  In this podcast, Grant Williams talks about the Grateful Dead song, "Brokedown Palace." Curry.  I had spoken with her before and I knew her story was amazing, so when it was her turn to share her testimony I asked permission to record and share it with the Mango class.  Buckle your seat belts people..this is one great story.

Each week, Kavian and I try and touch base about the Mango class and bounce ideas off each other.  With hopes of future phone interviews with Mango class members, I downloaded an app that allows me to record phone calls.  While Kavian and I were talking I wanted to test out the app to see the sound quality.  Turns out, we had an incredible conversation that is worth of a podcast episode.  At the time, Kavian did not know that I was recording, but I have since asked his permission to use the call as a Mango class podcast episode.  We discuss modernity, post-modernity, and post-post-modernity and the impact this has on spiritual conversations.  See you all Sunday!!
