Originally self-published in the pages of their fanzine, the prose story features Jerry Siegel's and Joe Shuster's first conception of a character labeled as Superman... and the science-fiction horror story brings a decidedly different take on the concept!

As Michael looks at the 13th storyline from the Superman daily newspaper strip, the Man of Steel is heading back to the tenements to deal with the poor living conditions resulting from the crime-riddled slums. 15/11/2011Charlie Niemeyer is back in the house as he and Michael look at the fourth storyline from the Superman radio serial, and it's a good thing he is, because this storyline is jam-packed! It's starts off with a prison riot, where two familiar fiends break loose. Then, after Superman's most vile villains come face-to-face for the first time, our hero travels to the town of Dyerville (or it Dyersville? Or Dryerville?!) to investigate mysterious tragedies plaguing the town.
