Episode 48 of the Doctor Who Alhambra Podcast, first official one with the new logo! In this episode of the podcast, we get to hear how Liam (@djNezumi) is getting older, the River Song audios have given us a change of opinion, Brett (@Mavic_Chen) might have an unhealthy fixation on the Great British Bake-Off.  On the bright side, he no longer is rooting for Flip, the 6th Doctor's companion, to die.  Near the end of the podcast, Liam begins to whisper talk, perhaps he's baby sitting Legeon's new offspring. Episode 46 of the Doctor Who: Alhambra Podcast focuses on the classic Doctor Who story (#102) The Power of Kroll. In this longer episode of The Doctor Who: Alhambra Podcast, Brett takes a quick look at the colourized and black & white of episode 5 of the animated classic Power of the Daleks, while looking at the Telesnaps from DWM SE #35.  The 3D colourized Daleks go from being OK at times to (see end of episode 3) to breathtakingly awesome (see end of episode 5).  As much as I do dislike the sloppiness of the animation at times, I am very grateful for having this episode back in some visual format.   I also have a previously recorded conversation with Liam discussing The Power of the Daleks and the Patrick Troughton era.  Then of course we go off on a tangent or...a lot. In today's podcast, Liam and I look into some of the new Big Finish and Doctor Who news, before we move onto the the reviews for the month of February 2016. With our reviews, we first look at the Big Finish Main Range release #209, Aquitaine, written by Simon Barnard & Paul Morris (clips from the story to highlight our discussion.
