Greear — Paul believed the study of the Word without [the Holy Spirit] was useless. That’s why after expounding the gospel in great detail in the first three chapters of Ephesians, he stops explaining and starts praying that the Spirit would enable the Ephesian believers “to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ. . .that surpasses knowledge” (Eph. 3:18 – 19). Acts 8:26-35 Implications: My Part – Say “yes” to the opportunities God puts before you. God’s Part – Always lining things up to bring people to into relationship with Himself. Their Part – Seeking answers and willing to learn. Your Next Steps: Seek answers and be willing to learn. Say the next “yes.”
