Holy smokes - I have such peace today I can barely stand or even type! I have put Him first today and yesterday was powerful. He gave me such rest and I am so grateful to Him for my faith and I was telling Him how sorry I have been that I have chosen the world over Him these past few days/weeks. The liquid love I feel right now is supernatural and I am just ON FIRE!  Thank you, GOD! All Christians are called to love thy neighbor as thyself - that includes people who persecute you. I had that happen to me last night and while I was shocked at the nastiness I prayed immediately, "Lord, they know not what they do...." and asked the Holy Spirit to help me love them like Jesus does. This can be your spouse, family, friends, co-workers and people you don't even know. It is super hard when it is someone you once were super close with but all we can do is "love our way through it" which is why I prayed for him and my heart to be soft last night. I'll admit - I was very hurt, shocked and felt so sorry for all the anger this person expressed. So, I had to trust the Holy Spirit today to guide me, to lead me and to make sure I said what He wanted me to say - in a whole NEW way! I met with quite a few people about Faith Coaching and what it would mean if we partnered together on the journey. Every single person is in a different place, every person is very much wanting to get closer to God and I talked to the Holy Spirit all day long. It is so important that I listen and get prompted from Him to say things (or NOT say things) so that I can help bring them to a deeper relationship with God.  THAT IS MY MISSION - and I cannot do it FOR Him - I must do it WITH Him. I was a complete child - "Is this right, Holy Spirit, am I doing that right, Holy Spirit, do you want me to say this - uh, okay - I won't - what about that....?" I was ON FIRE and this is how we should be living every single day. Today's Gospel is a grim reminder of our actions and what we are called to do - Jesus firmly says "If you do not repent, you will be damned..." not a direct quote, but listen in to this episode because I did NOT want to change a THING about my life! God, however, has given me the graces to do what I did not want to do....and He can do that for you, too. Your soul's eternal rest is at stake...yeah, this is a heavy one!
