The Holy Spirit and Purpose (John 16:13-15) The Holy Spirit's purpose is to empower you to bring glory to Jesus Christ. Know your WHY. Stop playing it SAFE.

Who are You? (Acts 5:1-4) The only thing better than Jesus sitting beside you is the Holy Spirit within you. God is continuously working to get closer to His creation. While the Holy Spirit's role is significant, we must fix our eyes upon Jesus.

Broken Hearts (Psalms 34:18) What does God think about when God thinks about you? Your heart? The beautiful thing is that broken hearts can find stability in Jesus (Mt 11:7-9) Hearts can change; but sometimes the process is painful! (Acts 7)

Romans 16:13 You are who you are due to the influence of someone else. Influence is multigenerational and immeasurable. Regardless of the lot you have in life, choose to live!

Jacob - The Man Who Wrestled With God Genesis 32:22-32 God came to Jacob in the time of his self-inflicted desperation (James 2:13) God loved Jacob, but he wasn't suitable for use until his pride and independence were broken (2 Cor 12:10) God will always win the wrestling match.

Exodus 2:23-3:12 Failure neither disqualifies, nor defines you: it can however prepare you. God is not impressed with anything about you. He's interested in your humility and availability. We all have estimations of ourselves, but who we are is not nearly as important as who God is.

Knowing Your Enemy - The Flesh Romans 7:15-25, 8:1   Life Points: Specifically pray for awareness, vision and conviction. The strength to better our lives comes from above. Life life, as Jesus did, from a posture of strength and security.

Spiritual Warfare - The Flesh (Galatians 5:16-21) Is the rhythm of your life in the Spirit or in the flesh? Any aspect of one's personality that is not in keeping with the Spirit of Christ must be changed Life and death really comes down to a choice between Spirit and flesh.

John 17:1-18 Life Points: The bait is security, identity and purpose. The hook is that such will never exist, in any meaningful way, without Jesus Christ as Lord. Hold onto the things of this world with an open hand. We work from security, identity and purpose as opposed to working for them.

Jude 1:8-10 Life Points The devil has to be invited in. Satan plays both sides. We don't have to be fearful; we just have to resist.

Stand in the strength of "His Might" - Eph. 6:10 Resolve to be aware, alert, circumspect, watchful and intentional Remember: "Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" - 1 Jn 4:4

Life Points Open up the curious compartment in your mind. Humility is far deeper than not being "snobbish". It's living a life in which your basic, default orientation is "I am indebted to God". (Romans 1:14) Humility is the key to getting beyond the anxiety in your life. (1 Peter 5:5-7)
