Manga Machinations

Both darfox and dakazu are enjoying Blood Blockade Battlefront(Kekkai Sensen), Rin-ne(Kyoukai no Rinne), and My Love Story!!(Ore Monogatari!!) but not Ultimate Otaku Teacher(Denpa Kyoushi) or The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan(Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu). Meanwhile Seamus discusses wives of the Caspian Sea in A Bride’s Story(Otoyomegatari). Then we continue our Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind retrospective as Nausicaä goes to war!(covers vol. 3) Also some bonus talk about the Hayao Miyazaki documentary The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness!!

This week dakazu talks about another cooking manga What Did You Eat Yesterday?Kinou Nanitabeta? that’s about a gay male couple, along with a Magical Girl parody manga Magical Girl Ore(Mahou Shoujo Ore)! Then we jump into Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and compare the events of both film and manga to each other!(covers vol. 2)
