The Way Out Podcast

In this edition of The Way Out, I’m beyond excited to bring you my interview with award winning director and producer and founder of Emmy-nominated People People Media, Jared Callahan. A quick note before we proceed: Much to my chagrin and surprise I discovered after this interview that inexplicably my default recording microphone on my podcasting rig reverted to – insert gasp here – the microphone built into my webcam. As horrified as I was at the discovery, you can still hear yours truly just fine despite the sub-par webcam mic and you can hear Jared just fine despite the internet gremlins on his end, and it afforded me a few opportunities in light of this unfortunate turn of events. First, as my fiancée said to me after watching me have a near meltdown and listening to the raw audio, “it’s fine, it doesn't sound that bad at all” – I realized my podcasting ego was making a much bigger deal out of it than it actually was and the goal of this podcast is not audiophile perfection but to bring you powerful reco
