Magnificent Life

"But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." Galatians 5:16  In today's world, sin has become an almost normal part of our lives. Unfortunately, we often forget just how powerful it is and how much it can distort our vision of holiness. Sin blinds us to the beauty and power of holiness, creating a ripple effect of misfortune that has no end. It can be easy to give in to temptation when faced with difficult situations, but by doing so, we risk losing sight of true holiness. According to Charles Spurgeon, "Sin is the mother and nurse of all evil; the eggs of all mischief; the foundation of all bitterness, and the root of disgrace."
