Hip-GRAMMY-nominated Nappy Roots dropped their latest song, “Blind Faith,” that happens to speak directly to the current turmoil that America is facing. This is the first song from the group’s forthcoming album, “40RTY,” which is set to be released on Sept. 18. In addition to sharing new music monthly, Nappy Roots will also debut beer collaborations with a variety of breweries across the country each month this summer. “Blind Faith” is a soulful southern perspective about perseverance during these trying and uncertain times. The song addresses that even though people may be doing “everything right” based on their ‘blind faith,’ nothing is going to improve without a major change. Even though the song was written last year, it seems especially relevant in the current climate.
