He has a heart for people, wants to use his music to encourage people to become all they can become in Christ. The fire that ignited this music passion began at an early age. At the tender age of 15, Shanti accepted Christ, He credits the power of gospel music that heavily influenced and radically transformed his life. “The Spirit of God” was so strong in gospel music Shanti relayed that I knew without a doubt that God was leading me into a deep and abiding relationship with him. Shanti earned a bachelor’s degree in Music Administration from the University of Charleston, WV in 1996. He furthered his academic pursuits at Berklee College of Music in Piano, Voice, and Music Business from 1997-2001. Shanti interned at EMI Gospel, Nashville, TN in the summer of 1999.
