Realize I no longer want to try to control this world - Online Movie Workshop with David Hoffmeister.I think some of you realize deep down that you can't control the world, but you are still trying daily. You try with people around you or your cat or dog, and you try with the environment. You try to have an opinion, and of course, it doesn't matter what that attempt is. It doesn't go very well. We are never delighted when we're trying to control the world, even when we try to control the body. Maybe you try to control the weight of your body or the shape of your body, or the look and appearance of your body: parents and children, partners and lovers, other community members. Whenever we think we can control anybody, we are lined up with the ego and won't be happy because we weren't meant to be controllers. We are terrible controllers. We can see it's been a mess, if we are honest. We're never really in control of the situation. And when we finally realize that, we forgive it and feel so happy instantly. Enjoy
