Since Bridget's father was a contractor, she was constantly exposed to the world of woodworking as a child. She majored in engineering in college, worked as an engineer for a while, and discovered her passion when she and Dillan bought their home and began DIY home improvements. Dillon, on the other hand, was a teacher before starting the business.
