May is here and so is the warm weather, finally! For today’s pod Matt and Mike chat about a WWII film that is flying under the radar, Sisu starring Jorma Tommila, Aksel Hennie, Jack Doolan, and Mimosa Willamo. Not murdering Nazi topics include crazy gas prices, another giveaway (Yes really!!!), and Cinco de Mayo. If you are looking for a fun movie with tons of brutal, graphic, and hilarious deaths Sisu is the perfect film for you. Taking place at the end of WWII, the Nazi’s are running and destroying everything in their wake fleeing the Allies advance. A small division of Nazi’s makes the mistake of trying to steal a gold miner’s haul who is not exactly what he appears to be. Chaos ensues and the miner gets his gold, to put it mildly. Sisu is a really fun film. It is laugh out loud hilarious at times. The story is extremely basic and so is the dialogue. This works but also makes the film seem like it’s slow and even boring. The acting, cinematography, and sets are incredible. Where this film really shines tho
