A memorial commemorating the deaths of more than 55,000 Bomber Command Airmen in the Second World War has been unveiled in Green Park. The memorial will also commemorate people of all nations who lost their lives in the bombing campaigns of 1939 to 1945. Her Majesty the Queen revealed a nine foot high bronze sculpture depicting seven bomber command air crew. Bernie Harris from Ilford flew in bomber command and spoke to @GabyandPaul about his experiences.
