Welcome everyone to the fifteenth episode of Ne Plus Ultra - Old Ideas, New Battlefields. It's been far too long since we've had an episode, but I'm hoping my life is finally normalizing so will return to our regular schedule. Today, it's a more personal episode, I talk about my own personal political experience and how it's clear that the political battlegrounds I had grown up fighting over are officially dead, and new battle lines are being drawn. In this episode I talk about how I am increasingly feeling that I no longer have a political home, and how the people I used to always know had my back in a political knife fight are now turning the knives on their own kind and conducting an impromptu purge. The traditionally left vs. right battles are gone, and are being replaced with painful civil wars on both sides of the political spectrum.
